The Third day of the Ilford Collection on the 14th of June also started at 10am to accommodate the 665 lots. The sale featured cars, Lorries, wagons, trucks and coaches by Metosul, Vilmer, Tekno, Lion-Toys/cars, and NZB and Cursor. Other lots included Construction related, modern collectables, British made, continental and foreign plus Britains collectors and limited edition sets. There were also 49 lots of tinplate and plastic models, including Wells Brimtoy mechanical and clockwork buses and vans plus Triang Minic, Disneykins plastic figures and more.
The Ilford Collection - Wednesday 13th June 2018 10:00 AM
Day two of the Ilford collection on the 13th of June again started at the earlier time of 10am. Featuring in this sale were French Dinky boxed cars and commercials, Spanish Dinky, Dinky Junior and Matchbox Regular Wheels. The sale also included 480 lots of Corgi, including cars, emergency and public service, military, farm tractors and trailers, film and TV related models, giftsets and Husky. Plus models from Russian and Japanese manufacturers including Novoexport, ATC Model Pet, Diapet, Tomica Dandy and Kado. The sale included pre-production colour trial, promotional issue and rare colour variations.
Dolls & Teddy Bear Sale - Thursday 31st May 2018 10:30 AM
The Dolls and Teddy Bear sale which was held on the 31st of May featured an array of vintage and modern items, with Bears and animals from Steiff, Artists Bears including Deans Rag Book, Wendy Woo Creations, Isle be Bear and one of a kind bears from MJ Bears; plus Charlie Bears and Merrythought. Dolls included Bisque, Hard plastic, composite, vinyl and teenage, from Armand Marseille, Annette Himstedt, Sasha and Pedigree, plus felt dolls from Steiff and R John Wright, the sale also included books, doll stands, furniture and accessories.
The Ilford Collection - Tuesday 12th June 2018 10:00 AM
Day one of the Ilford collection started on the 12th of June at 10am. The first day featured over 700 lots of Dinky models, including boxed and unboxed Cars, Commercials and Buses, plus boxed Military, Trade boxes, rigid Perspex case issues, bubble pack and window box issues. The collection featured promotional issues and hard to find variations.
The Lakeland Collection - Tuesday 22nd May 2018 10:30 AM
The Lakeland Collection of Corgi and Dinky Toys which was held on the 22nd of May featured boxed cars and commercials, Gift Sets, TV and Film Related, Chipperfields Circus, South African/Nicky Toys, French Dinky and other miscellaneous items including rare and hard to find and promotional issues. The sale received a lot of interest and lots of on-the-day bidding from Internet and telephone buyers saw some great prices achieved.
There were a large number of lots which sold considerably above estimate; including 11 which realised over £1,000 hammer price, below are just some of the highlights.
