Doll & Teddy Bear Sale - Wednesday 31st October 2018 10:30 AM
The Dolls and Teddy Bear sale held on the 31st of October featured a good selection of Bisque, Hard plastic, and composition Dolls, including an R John Wright Halloween Kewpie, plus Barbie and Sindy dolls from Palitoy and Pedigree, with Houses, vehicles, furniture and accessories. There was a large collection of Gollies in the sale, plus Teddy Bears from Steiff, Merrythought, Deans and Artists bears, as well as a Super Ted in original box. Other items included My Little Pony, Sylvanian Families, a nicely restored Rocking Horse plus dolls houses, furniture and accessories, and much more.

The Military and Specialist sale which was held on the 11th of October started with Part 1 of The Broos Military Figure Collection, with Modern Issue sets from Britains, WM Hocker, Tradition, CBG Mignot and others plus Britains and Timpo boxed issues , and Vintage Construction Kits from Tamiya, Airfix, Revell and others. The West Yorkshire TV, Film & Diecast Collection featured racing and sports cars, Corgi trucks, Hotwheels, Corgi Classics, Lledo and Minichamps, plus Schuco vehicles. TV and Film vehicles included James Bond, Harry Potter, The Italian Job, Batman and many more. Further items in the sale comprised cabinets, books, Tanks and radio controlled tank parts and components plus Corgi and Dinky cars and buses.
The General sale held on the 18th of October featured a large collection of Corgi Aviation Archive, with Frontier Airlines, Military Air Power and many others. There were boxed groups of vehicles from Corgi, Vanguard,Lledo, MatchboxEFE,Brooklin and Durham Classics, including cars, aircraft, military and motorbikes, plus large lots of loose vehicles including cars, Fire Engines, trucks, and military. There was a nice selection of Micro Machine Army vehicles and 007 and Batman boxed magazine issue groups. The sale also included TV & Film related vehicles; Disney, War Film andSci-fi related DVDs andVHS; books, games, cabinets, annuals and a large collection ofWWE pin badges, magnets and key rings.
The Specialist sale held on the 10th of October featured five private owner collections plus a number of other interesting lots. The Durham collection included White Metal and resin models from Lansdowne, Milestone The Spirit of Brooklins, Somerville, Pathfinder, J& M classics, CMC and many more, plus modern and vintage diecast racing and sports cars, wagons, lorries, farm and construction vehicles, plus Del Prado, Britains and other military lots. The Cotswold Motorcycle collection featured 1/12th Minichamps Classic bike series models plus others. The Birmingham 1/50th scale truck collection included 37 lots of Corgi Heavy Haulage, Hauliers of Renown and WSI models; and The Dorset 1/50th scale collection featured further models plus Tekno. The Surrey Collection featured 34 lots of Franklin Mint, Yatming Air Signature and Corgi Aviation Archive aircraft and there were 7 Grand Prix and Formula 1 signed prints and artwork. Further lots in the sale included TV & Film vehicles.
