Job Description

As a Diecast Cataloguer for Vectis Auctions, you will catalogue collectables to be sold on our online auction platform. A good knowledge of Vintage and Modern Diecast is required such as, Matchbox, Corgi, Dinky, Spot-On, Franklin Mint, Hot wheels, Solido, Tekno and associated items. Speed, accuracy and a passion for collectables are qualities required by Vectis to enable us to fulfil our vision to become the UK’s largest, premium collectables auction company.

Key Accountabilities

• Be a part of the Cataloguing Team and contribute to team meetings to improve the Vectis service.
• Support other cataloguers as required with sales.
• Input titles, descriptions and estimates into the Vectis auction system.
• Identify collectables and sort collections into “lots”
• Work with enthusiasm and at pace.
• Capability to complete all paperwork and administration.
• Ability to learn and share expertise of products.
• Liaise with customers to determine if the collection is suitable for auction.
• Support customers enquiries and resolve customer issues
• Attend exhibitions and promote Vectis to the wider community
• Work closely with marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels, and devise strategies to increase the customer base.
