Model Train Sale - Friday 19th October 2018 10:30 AM
The Model Train sale which was held on the 19th of October started with over 30 lots of OO Gauge British Outline, followed by HO USA & Continental Outline, N Gauge, Z Gauge and HOe (Narrow Gauge). The sale included Hornby Dublo 2- and 3-rail, Acho and Hornby Dublo Literature; Wrenn, Trix-Liliput, Triang TT and HO/OO Kitbuilt; and part 6 of The Chris Broos Lifetime Collection featured over 50 lots of fantastic O gauge locomotives, coaches and accessories. Other lots in the sale included Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, Gauge 1 & Larger, The South Wales O Gauge Collection and a further Single Owner O Gauge Collection Part 2, plus Hornby, Modern, and Kit/Scratchbuilt O Gauge, On30 Narrow Gauge and Bing Table Top, books, magazines, catalogues, postcards, pictures & prints and our usual good selection of General Trains
The Specialist sale held on the 7th of November featured 494 lots from one private owner. The Puerto Rico Collection included boxed and unboxed Corgi and Dinky models including road and racing cars, tanks, trucks and haulage vehicles, coaches and buses, farm, emergency services and military vehicles, plus aircraft and TV & Film related. There were also Corgi Classics “Heritage” and Heavy Haulers groups, Corgi Rockets, Juniors and Gift Sets; French and Spanish Dinky, empty trade boxes and catalogues. Other items in the sale included Quiralu, early and recent issue cars, Minichamps road and racing cars, Pilen and many others.
Doll & Teddy Bear Sale - Wednesday 31st October 2018 10:30 AM
The Dolls and Teddy Bear sale held on the 31st of October featured a good selection of Bisque, Hard plastic, and composition Dolls, including an R John Wright Halloween Kewpie, plus Barbie and Sindy dolls from Palitoy and Pedigree, with Houses, vehicles, furniture and accessories. There was a large collection of Gollies in the sale, plus Teddy Bears from Steiff, Merrythought, Deans and Artists bears, as well as a Super Ted in original box. Other items included My Little Pony, Sylvanian Families, a nicely restored Rocking Horse plus dolls houses, furniture and accessories, and much more.
The Specialist sale which was held on the 6th of November featured 651 lots from one private owner collection. The Surrey Collection included Matchbox, Dinky and Corgi, plus Triang Spot-on, Budgie Toys, Benbros and Tekno plus tinplate clockwork vehicles from Mettoy, Wells (UK), Schuco and others. Lots included boxed and unboxed groups and individual cars, motorcycles, buses and coaches, farm and construction vehicles, emergency, military, and aircraft, plus Corgi TV & Film related and Gifts sets; French Dinky and Pre- and Post War Triang Minic.
