The Specialist sale held on the 19th of June featured six private owner collections. The Removal Van Collection included 40 lots of 1st Gear articulated and rigid removal vans, Tekno Trucks and Corgi Classics; The Dorset Collection featured over 200 models including Sunstar buses, Heng Tai and Heng Long radio-controlled military vehicles, Dinky Toy Groups, plus Corgi and EFE. There were also a number of Plastic Kits including Trumpeter 1/200th scale, plus other scales from Fujimi, Hasegawa, Airfix and Revell. The Merseyside Collection featured further Plastic Kits from Heller, Matchbox, Frog and Airfix, as well as Airfix artwork, and The Nottingham Diecast Collection included trucks, lorries and commercial vehicles, plus road and race cars. The sale also included two Private Owner Collections and a selection of Lotus Models, with items including Matchbox Models of Yesteryear, Corgi Aviation Archive, Dragon Armor military vehicles, plus much more.

 

 

 

The Model Train sale  held on the 21st of June featured OO Gauge British Outline including Bachman, Horny (China) and Railways, Heljan, and Dalpol, locomotives, rolling stock and sets plus HO USA & Continental Outline from Fleischmann, Jouef, Bachmann and Rivarossi, plus others. The sale also included Hornby Dublo 2- and 3-rail, Wrenn and OO Gauge including Kit/Scratchbuilt, a Single Owner Collection of Lawrence Scale Models OO Gauge and Japanese/Korean Brass British Outline OO Gauge. The sale also featured Triang Minic cars and commercial vehicles, Meccano and Bayko Constructional sets, Live Steam, G Gauge plus Hornby and further O Gauge, with Pictures & Prints, Books, Catalogues, Cigarette Cards etc, and our usual good selection of General Trains.

 

 

 

The Dolls and Teddy Bear sale held on the 30th of May started at the earlier time of 10am. The sale included bears from Steiff, Hermann-Spielwaren, Artists bears, Deans Rag book; Charlie bears - including collections from The Elves and the Shoemaker and the Pied Piper; Merrythought plus JK Farnell vintage teddy bears, a set of the red, white and blue vintage Campbell bears. Plus American and German vintage bears including an extremely rare Gebruder Bing 1908-1910 teddy. Also in the sale were a good selection of dolls including bisque, felt, vinyl, hard plastic, composition and porcelain, from designers and manufacturers such as Annette Himstedt and Armand Marseille, with teenage fashion dolls including Sindy, Pippa and Barbie, plus TV dolls ABBA, Boy George and Twiggy; and a selection of Neue Munchner kinderpuppen artist dolls. Further items in the sale included dolls houses, furniture and accessories, a large collection of TY beanie babies, Care Bears and a large selection of Widdop & co Eggcellent dad gifts smashable savings pots, and Wade Collectors Club 1998 trade boxes of figurines and money boxes.

 

 

The Specialist Sale on the 18th of June featured five private owner collections plus a TV and Film related section. Lots included boxed and unboxed Corgi and Dinky road and racing cars, vans, trucks and wagons; plus, military vehicles, buses, Farm and construction. The sale featured Corgi Gift sets, including GS38 Rallye Monte Carlo, Corgi Chipperfield Circus, Military Trade packs, and a Corgi (Mettoy) National Association of Toy Retailers award. Dinky lots included pre-war aircraft, vehicles and tinplate buildings, Dinky figures, accessories and trade boxes, and French Dinky. Other items in the sale included Triang Spot-on, Tekno wagons and white metal military vehicles.

 

 

 

The Tinplate and Specialist sale held on the 15th of May featured a good selection of large scale battery operated and friction drive tinplate vehicles from Bandai, Gama, GeGe, Mettoy and others, plus Robots, Space and novelty toys, Sutcliffe boats and military items. Further items included Triang Minic electric plastic model cars, Corgi and Dinky trucks and lorries. Plus, a large selection of Matchbox models, including King Size, Yesteryear, Major Packs, Regular Wheels, Superfast and Gift Sets; catalogues, books, carry case and artwork. The sale concluded with Spark (minimax) boxed racing cars, Minichamps Audi Collection, Ertl, Schuco, and white metal models from Brooklin and Lansdowne, plus Dragon Models World War 2 military figures.
