The Specialist sale held on the 1st of October started at the earlier time of 10am to incorporate the 819 lots, which included boxed and unboxed Dinky, including French, Spanish and pre-war; Corgi, Triang Spot-On, EFE, plus others. Lots included Military vehicles, buses and coaches, lorries and wagons, road and racing cars, construction, fire and farm vehicles. Corgi models included gift sets and Chipperfield Circus. The sale also included TV and Film related models, Corgi Aviation Archive and Airfix plastic kits.

 

 

 

The Model Train sale held on the 27th of September featured OO Gauge British Outline including ex shop stock from Hornby (China) and Bachmann, plus other locomotives, coaches and wagons from Heljan, Dapol, Lima and Airfix; HO USA & Continental Outline from Roco, Marklin and Liliput; N Gauge from Dapol and Graham Farish, plus Hornby Dublo 2- and 3-rail boxed and unboxed models and accessories. The sale also included Wrenn, Trix/Liliput, OO Gauge Kit and Kitbuilt, O Gauge and Accessories from Hornby, plus others. There were three private owner collections, including two further Japanese/Korean Brass Sunset models; Part 2 of a Single Owner G Gauge Collection; Part 4 of the Lawrence Scale Models OO Gauge Single Owner Collection and The Pontypool Collection featuring O Gauge models from Bassett Lowke and similar, Hornby and Lionel, plus others. The sale also included Gauge 1 & Larger, G Gauge, Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, Catalogues, Books, Magazines, and our usual good selection of General Trains.

The General Toy sale to be held on the 5th of September features plastic model kits from Revell and Airfix amongst others, plus Kitbuilt ships, boats and military vehicles. Diecast and white metal vehicles are offered from Vanguards, Corgi, Dinky, Matchbox, Lledo, EFE, Pathfinder and Somerville plus others, with groups of empty boxes, Scalextric, Lego, and Guiloy diecast motorcycles. Further items in the sale include Dolls and Teddy Bears, children toys, games and books, Football ephemera including tickets balls and programmes; Games Workshop, World War II Aviation Prints, cabinets, catalogues, books, magazines and annuals.

 

 

 

Part 2 of the Simon Hope Matchbox Collection which was held on the 24th of September featured over 420 lots of Matchbox Regular Wheels, including road and racing cars, emergency vehicles, bulldozers and constructions vehicles, ships and boats, buses, coaches and trams, and included rare unlisted stannard code models. The sale had fifteen models achieving four figure sums, and only one unsold, it realised a superb £115,500!

 

 

 

The Hampstead Collection Part 2 featured 183 lots of cars, buses and coaches, lorries and trucks military vehicles and others from Skybirds, Morestone, Chad Valley, Britains, Taylor and Barrett, CIJ, Solido, Tekno, Marklin and Tootsietoy plus Triang Minic pre and post war buses, Wells Brimtoy and Chad Valley tinplate clockwork buses, with European and continental tinplate models. Further items in the sale included Bandai friction drive models and other battery operated and clockwork vehicles and novelty toys; Vanguards, Lledo, Dinky Toys, Corgi, Dinky and others plus The West Midlands Hot Wheels Collection, 149 lots of redline models plus groups of carded, boxed and re-carded models, and unboxed groups
