For collectors of Airfix, the box artwork was undoubtedly the thing that caught their eye when choosing the next model. Roy Cross is the artist responsible for many of the iconic designs, and his artwork was up for auction at the end of August.

Featuring many iconic and unique pieces, from trace drawings to framed imagery, plus catalogues and books featuring more of his exceptional work, the sale started at 10am on Tuesday 28th of August.
