The tinplate sale to be held in June features some spectacular Japanese and European tinplate cars and commercials, including some very rare models never before seen at Vectis.

Interesting lots include 12” Tipp & Co Mercedes cars, one saloon and one open top; ATC Plymouth open top car towing a boat and trailer, with battery operated outboard motor. A very rare 12” Ford Sunliner from HAJI, and an Ichiko Plymouth estate car. The collection also includes an impressive 4-door sedan, Cadillac Fleetwood from SSS Tokyo, at 17” the 1961 model is a striking Lot.

 

      

 

 

 

The TV and Film related sale held on the 29th April featured a large selection of loose figures and accessories from Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man, MASK, Dr Who, Thunderbirds, Power Rangers and many more.  Further lots included Star Wars carded figures, Lego sets, modern and vintage collectables, clothes, masks and helmets, plus, Master replicas collectors society items.  The sale also included Action Man, boxed and carded Transformer figures, Matchbox Fighting figures outfit sets, and James Bond. Plus, diecast vehicles, jigsaws, books and magazines, posters, prints, autographed photos and stamps. There was a large collection of Beatles memorabilia including vinyl, and watches, a number of Harry Potter first edition hardback books, and much more.

 

 

The Dolls & Teddy bear sale held on the 1st of June featured a large collection of Charlie Bears, plus Steiff, Merrythought, Chad Valley, Artists bears, and large groups including Disney and Gollys. Modern and vintage Dolls included cloth, bisque, vinyl and hard plastic from Sasha, Armand Marseille, SFBJ, Simon & Halbig, and many others. Further items included a Bild Lilli Doll, Pelham puppets, Sylvanian families, vintage children toys including rocking horses, prams, dolls furniture, books and magazines plus Barbie, Sindy and princess dolls. The sale concluded with a private owner collection - The Frankie Artist Bear Collection by Frances Armstrong, 69 lots of groups and single plush bears and bear making fabric.

 

 

 

The Specialist sale held on the 27th April started with The North East Volkswagen Collection, 99 lots of cars and vans from Corgi, Dinky, Marklin, Tekno, Gamma, Wiking, Ichiko and many more. The Leicestershire Collection includes cars, vans, trucks and emergency vehicles from Corgi, Dinky, French Dinky, Spot-on, Tekno, Brooklin and Somerville, plus others; and The Calgary Collection features over 250 lots of boxed and unboxed Dinky cars, commercials, motorbikes, military vehicles, figures and animal sets, plus Dinky Supertoys, trade boxes, aircraft, literature, catalogues, leaflets flyers and price lists. Further items in the sale include Corgi, Dinky, Benbros, Pathfinder models, SMTS, K&R replicas, TV and Film related vehicles, Tekno, vintage plastic kits and Dinky pre-war sets.

 

 

 

The Model Train sale held on the 23rd of April started with OO Gauge British Outline from Hornby Railways, Hornby (China) and Bachmann, HO USA & Continental Outline from Fleischmann, Marklin, Faller and Rocco, plus a large collection of ex-shop stock HO and N Gauge American outline from Genesis, Walthers, Atlas, Athearn and many others. Further items included Hoe/009 Scale, Hornby Dublo and Acho, Wrenn, Triang, and Trix. The sale also included HO Brass, Triang Minic Motorway, OO Gauge Kitbuilt, Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, G Gauge, On30 Narrow Gauge, and O Gauge plus Railwayana, Catalogues, Books & other ephemera, Railway Books & Other Transport, and our usual good selection of General Trains.
