The Military & Civilian Figures, Equipment & Accessories sale held on the 6th of March featured The Philip Dean Collection, 525 lots of pre and post war figures and sets, including Britains, Charben, John Hill & Co, Pixyland Kew, Timpo and many others. Series included Wedding party, Circus, Farm, Village, Railway Station, Garden, Sports and Space plus many more. Further items in this sale included 79 lots of post war CBG Mignot ranges, including Napoleonic, Ancients, WW1 and 18th/19th and 20th Century Ranges.

 

 

 

 

Specialist Sale -- Wednesday 16th January 2019 HIGHLIGHTS

The Specialist Sale which was held on the 16th of January featured seven private owner collections plus other vendors. The Northern Collection featured Solido racing cars; Dinky cars, trucks, service vehicles, and aircraft, plus Corgi vehicles and TV and Film memorabilia. The Bus Collection featured 20 lots of boxed and unboxed buses from Minialuxe, Gamda (Israel), Tekno and Dinky, plus others and The Hampshire Collection included Dinky cars, motorcycles, South African, and French Dinky. The Borders Collection, The Hereford Collection - Part 1, and Part 2 of The Puerto Rico Collection all included boxed and unboxed Corgi and Dinky cars, commercials, haulage, military and aircraft plus many others, and the French Dinky from The London Collection featured a number of buses and military vehicles.

 

 

 

The Military, Civilian Figures, Equipment & Accessories sale held on the 26th of November featured modern, contemporary and plastic issues, 1/6th Scale Action Figures, Militaria, Airfix Archive, and Britains - Unboxed Military Issues. The sale also included three private owner collections, Sally's Collection featured a large selection of Britains Models, including Britains Modern Issues (Special Collectors Edition series), Britains Farm series, including Pre-war items; Farm people, Hunt series, and cricketers, plus Miniature Household and Kitchen Utensil sets, and “Map of the World” Cows. The Franzini - Tibaldeo Collection included a wide selection of military figures and vehicles from the collection of the Roman collector Alessandro Franzini Tibaldeo, preserved and kept by Edoardo F.T. from makers such as Heyde, Haffner, Mignalu, Quiralu, Britains and others.

The third private owner collection, Connoisseur Miniatures From Russia, included 33 lots of Studios figures, from (St. Petersburg) Grenada Studios, Amber Studios, Niena and Aeroart, plus Lead Army Studios, all in 54mm scale.

Day 2 of the Military, Civilian Figures, Equipment & Accessories sale took place on Tuesday the 27th of November, it featured further Modern, Contemporary, Plastic, and Civilian Issues plus Militaria. Boxed and Unboxed Military Issues from Britains were also up for auction, including Special Editions & Paris Office. There were Composition & Tinplate Figures, Vehicles & Accessories, Plastic Issues - Connoisseur Selection, and further Connoisseur Miniatures From Russia. The sale also included Britains Specials By Roy Selwyn-Smith, Britains chief designer and director. Probably unique, the 24 lots have been painted to collectors’ standards by Roy.
