The Model Train Sale held on the 19th of July featured OO Gauge British Outline from Bachmann, Hornby (China), Mainline Railways, Heljan and others; HO USA & Continental Outline from Marklin, Rivarossi, Bachmann Spectrum and more. Plus, N Gauge, Hornby Dublo 2- and 3-rail, Kit/Scratchbuilt OO Gauge, and O Gauge locomotives and rolling stock from Hornby, modern and further.  The sale also included Part 2 of the Lawrence Scale Models Single Owner Collection and a further eight lots of Japanese/Korean Brass British Outline OO Gauge Locomotives. Additional lots included Gauge 1 & Larger, G Gauge, a Trix Footplate Man Construction Set, Meccano, Live Steam, plus catalogues, Books, Magazines, DVD’s, and our usual good selection of General Trains.

Scratchbuilt 2" Gauge 4-4-2 Loco and Tender LNER green Ivatt "Atlantic" No.251, coal fired Live Steam. Built in brass and tinplate, finished in LNER lined green with running number 251 to cab sides. The tender has a plate and on the reverse are the building details which states built by "FW Groves 1930 London" and the 2nd plate reads rebuilt by "JF Groves 1978 Surrey". Will require a little work, single internal and 2 external cylinders, cab detail includes site glass. A good project for the large scale modeller. Good.

Marklin HO 3-rail 49950 (Digital) DB yellow livery Railroad Crane Set (with digital functions) comprising 16-wheel Breakdown Crane along with 2 x Bogie Riding Trucks with packs of accessories, condition Near Mint to Mint in Near Mint to Mint box with full instructions.

Lawrence Scale Models OO Gauge 2-4-0 Loco and Tender Great Western green Class 3501 No.3510. Fitted with a portescap or similar motor. The original locomotive was as a Broad Gauge 2-4-0 Tank Loco and 3510 was rebuilt as a Tender Engine in 1890. Lawrence Scale Models detached to the underside of the tender and dated 1996. Near Mint to Mint.

Hornby O Gauge group of LMS Passenger Coaches consisting of 1st/3rd and All 3rd Brake Coach. Sides are Good, roofs are Good Plus all contained in Fair to Good boxes, together with an unboxed All 3rd LMS Passenger Coach, sides Good to Good Plus, roof overpainted. (3)
