TV & Film Related sale - Wednesday 25th October 2017

The TV & Film Related sale which was held on the 25th of October featured over 500 lots, including Star Wars figures,? carded figures, toys, collectables, comics and annuals, plus Dr. Who, Marvel, James Bond, Camberwick Green and Gerry Anderson; WWE, games, toys and Lego, plus much more. The Gerald Edwards Collection featured Star Wars items from Meccano, Kenner and Palitoy including Playsets, vehicles and carded figures. The sale also included a life size Dalek finished in gold and black which can be manned and a large plush Scooby Doo, complete with Scooby Snack standing at 60"/153cm tall.

Action Man, TV & Film Related sale - Tuesday 24th October 2017

The Action Man, TV & Film Related sale held on the 24th of October featured two private owner collections, The Dave and Diane Todd DT Fairs, and The Louis Marx (Swansea, UK) Archive. Lots included Action Man, Tommy Gunn, GI Joe, and Action Force figures, clothing and accessories, displays, leaflets and catalogues, plus carded and loose groups. The Louis Marx (Swansea, UK) Archive featured over 60 lots which originally formed part of the Louis Marx factory warehouse, including unique hand painted prototypes and factory samples, lots included Walt Disney Disneykins, Fairykins, prehistoric monsters, animal kingdom groups plus plastic figures, rifles, vehicles and accessories. Other lots in the sale included Mattel, Revell, Playmates, Lego, Warhammer games and workshop miniatures; Dr Who, Batman, Star Trek, Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings plus trading cards, books, props, collectables, photographs and prints, plus a rather unusual Egyptian-style Sarcophagus created by Wilma Woodgates as part of her Scottish HN Diploma in 2015.

Railwayana quantity of cast plates and notices consisting of Rothbury seat back measuring 28" x 4 1/2" approx. Rothbury was a station in Northumberland part of 13 mile single track line opened in November 1870 and absorbed into the North British Railway in 1872, the station was closed in 1963. "Penalty for Neglect £2" notice, "Shut This Gate" together with a notice for "Any persons not fastening this gate after having passed through is liable to a penalty for 40s", together with a "Keep This Gate Shut" mounted on a wooden base (broken in 3 sections). (5)

The Jersey Collection - Thursday 26th October 2017

The Jersey Collection which was held on the 26th of October began with over 60 lots of Corgi toys, including boxed and unboxed cars, tractors, Land Rovers and Gift sets. The sale continued with a similar selection of Dinky Land Rovers, tractors, construction, transport, and racing cars. There was a nice selection of Corgi ?Noddy?s? cars, Dr Who and James Bond, plus plastic kit James Bond, and tinplate, plastic and friction drive ?Batman? Batmobiles. The Tinplate and Plastic section of the sale featured battery operated, clockwork and friction drive cars, emergency services, trucks, military and farm vehicles. The sale continued with Matchbox Regular Wheels and Superfast trucks, cars, tractors, emergency services, farm vehicles, caravans and campervans and scooters and sidecars. There was also a selection of Matchbox Models of Yesteryear and catalogues.
