The General Toy sale held on the 28th May featured large groups of mixed vintage and modern diecast, including Corgi, Lledo, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, EFE, Solido, Franklin Mint and many more, The sale also included Corgi Aviation Archive models and other aircraft, Corgi Heavy Haulage, Hauliers of Renown and others, plus Corgi Gift Sets and military models, and a number of Corgi Thunderbirds FAB1 cars. There was a large selection of sports and racing cars from Auto Art and similar, plus Airfix and other kits. The sale also included a number of books, magazines, comics, soft toys, DVD’s and video games, plus posters, prints, football programmes and further general and novelty toys.

 

 

The Specialist Sale which was held on the 27th May started with The Herefordshire Emergency Vehicle Collection, 186 lots from Neo, Minichamps, Ixo, Rai’s, Vanguards, Corgi and many others. The sale continued with Private Owner Collection #1, 106 lots of boxed Lansdowne models. Further items in the sale included WSI Models, Tekno trucks, including Superhero and Picasso paintwork models; Vanguards, Corgi, 1/18th scale models from Minichamps, Auto Art and Sunstar, plus further Lansdowne, Brooklin and mixed modern diecast groups. The sale concluded with 93 lots of slot car Models from Fly Car Model and Fly Car Classic, including boxed sets; Mini Models (UK) Scalex tinplate keyless clockwork cars and a selection of Scalextric cars, including tinplate; parts, track and original technical drawings.

 

 

 

The Specialist Salewhich was held on the 21st March featured a magnificent seven private owner collections. The first featured 154 lots of Corgi and Dinky models including cars, trucks, military, Corgi Whizzwheels, commercial vehicles, TV and Film related and Gift Sets. The Mansfield Collection featured over 230 lots of Dinky pre and post war models, including aircraft, ships, road and racing cars, buses and coaches, plus accessory and figure sets. Private Owner Collection #2 included Matchbox Regular Wheels, Corgi, Dinky and French Dinky models. The Foden Family Collection included Dinky Foden 1st and 2nd type trucks, models from Corgi, Triang Spot-On, Tekno and White Metal. The Yorkshire Collection and The North East Collection featured further Dinky vehicles and accessory sets. The sale concluded with further Dinky factory drawings from The John Beugels Collection.

 

 

 

 

 

The Model Train sale which was held on Friday 29th May featured OO Gauge British Outline, HO/HOe USA & Continental Outline, N Gauge and Wrenn, plus Triang & Triang Hornby and a Hornby Dublo Single Owner Collection. The Chris Freeman Meccano & Vintage Toy Collection Part II included Models, Dealers Cabinets, Outfits, Cars, Boats & Aeroplanes, Clockwork & Electric Motors, Parts & Empty Boxes, Magazines, Display & Other Items, plus, Marklin Construction Sets, Marklin Steam, Marklin Constructional Vehicles, Erector Sets , Primus, Structator, Structo, Hornby O Gauge,  and Finescale O Gauge. Further items in the sale included Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Exley, Live Steam, Gauge 1 & Larger, G Gauge. Hornby, Further and Modern O Gauge, Finescale/Kitbuilt and American Outline O Gauge, plus Railwayana, Books, Magazines, Catalogues & Miscellaneous, Railway Photographs, and our usual good selection of General Trains.

 

 

 

The TV and Film related sale, including further items from the Cornel Fleming collection was held on Tuesday the 26th of May. The sale included figures, playsets and collectables from Action Man, He-Man, Lord of The Rings, Dr Who, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Thunderbirds and many more. There was a large collection of Star Wars items including carded figures sourced from an Ex Palitoy employee; plays sets, accessory’s, Lego, cold cast porcelain figures, cookie jars and an original acetate transparency of the original movie poster. Further items included posters, lobby cards, autographed silent movie photographs, jigsaws, books, comics, board games, soft toys and video and DVD’s. There were a number of Funko Pop Vinyl figures; Lego sets, including a vintage no.375 Castle and Knights set, quantities of TV and Film related collectables plus an imposing and impressive 238cm tall statue of King Kong!
