Action packed and full of punch, is the only way to describe the TV & Film Sale on Tuesday 26th May. Over 685 lots offering a great selection, here we highlight just a few.

The first instalment of the Dr Cornell Series was full of surprises, this episode provides more boxed Transformers and Major Matt Mason plus the more unusual such as Zoids, Captain Future and Flash Frights.  There are fine sections of Dr Who, Star Trek and Star Wars too. Quirky lots such as retro plastic and rubber space and Thunderbird figures, diecast models, robots, videos and sci-fi collectables ensure another exciting chapter.

Vectis are noted for gathering some of the best Star Wars items and this sale includes over 70 lots from an ex-employee of the Palitoy factory in Coalville, Leicestershire. The Sales Rep’s collection is as you would expect, in excellent order, boxed, with many unpunched carded pieces. There are some mouth-watering figures such as Lot 6071, the Luke (Luc) Skywalker carded figures on a 20 back square Meccano card rather than the usual rectangle. Meccano being the French distributor for the range, this rarity has a pre-sale estimate of £4,000 - £6,000. A similar delight is Lot 6083 which is a mis-card as the figure in the bubble is of a black Bespin Guard on an Imperial Commander 45 back card. These toys were put together by hand which means when a mistake is made such as using the wrong backer or using up the cards available a unique item is created. To find it in as new condition is incomparable.

Another unique lot is Lot 6162, the Kenner Star Wars Ewoks Cartoon hand painted Hard Copy Dulok Scout Prototype. This has been certified by Tom Derby of Cloud City Collectables and the lot includes the relevant provenance paperwork. It is accompanied by the figure that went into production of the Dulok scout figure.

We have all seen the recent strong prices achieved by Vectis for Masters of the Universe He-Man pieces. This auction provides the opportunity to acquire the full run of figures from Scare Glow and Hurricane Hordak to Gwildor, Mosquitor and Rokkon.

More ex-shop stock, yes, we ARE spoiling you! This time it is vintage Palitoy Action Man and Gyper Man (European branding for Action Man) boxed figures, carded outfit and accessories. Lots are 6231 to 6250.

Additionally, there is Lego including a rare vintage set from 1978 which is number 375 Castle with Knights which is unused and sealed, still within its original packaging. There are also WWF, LOTR, diecast, film posters and more!
