The General Toy Sale to be held on the 30th August includes a number of boxed and unboxed car groups from Auto Art, Solido, Maisto, Minichamps, Vanguards, Lledo, Corgi and Dinky, plus others. Further items include Corgi, Gemini Jets, Herpa and Dragon aviation sets, Corgi heavy haulage, trucks, commercials, cars and trackside items. There are a number of cabinets, framed pictures, football related items, vintage gaming Lots, board games, books and children?s ride on toys. The sale also includes slot car sets, Lansdowne models, kit groups and train related items.
The Lego sale held on the 31st of August also featured a nice selection of TV and film related toys. The sale started with a large quantity of Lego lots including sealed boxed sets, ex-shop stock, opened boxed sets, sealed bags, loose Lego including built models, mini figures and bricks. Ranges included Batman, Superheroes, City, Creator, Friends, Star Wars, Bionicles, Jurassic World and Architecture amongst others. There were also Lego dimensions, instruction manuals, Vidiyo sets, and store displays. Non Lego items included Way of the Warrior foam swords and hammers, Corgi diecast Noddy figures, Thunderbirds, WWF Figures, Dr Who, Ghostbusters, Star Wars figures vehicles and playsets, Star Trek, Hot wheels diecast vehicles and Pok?mon cards.
The Russell Walker Collection held on the 18th of August was a single private owner collection of over 360 lots. The sale started with Corgi cars, commercials and buses, plus promotional and trial issues, trade packs, gift sets and TV and film related items, including a collection of Magic Roundabout figures. The sale continued with Triang Spot-On and Dinky vehicles, gift sets and presentation sets. Further items in the sale included Matchbox, Britains Motorcycles, Triang Minic, Airfix kits, plus TV Related items and a nice selection of boxed Lego sets.
The Model Train sale held on the 26th of August started with OO Gauge British Outline from Bachmann, Hornby, Lima, Vitrains, Dapol and others, and included train sets, locos and rolling stock plus kit and kitbuilt. There were further HO USA & Continental Outline train sets, Locomotives, rolling stock and figures, plus N Gauge from Graham Farish, Dapol, Peco and Lima. The sale continued with Hornby Dublo 2 & 3-rail, Triang, Wrenn, Lone Star Treble O Lectric and Trix. The sale concluded with Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, Gauge 1 & Larger, Hornby and other O Gauge plus Kit/Kitbuilt and Modern, Books, Magazines & Catalogues and our usual good selection of General Trains.
The Specialist and Tinplate toy sale held on the 16th of August featured four private owner collections plus further items. The sale started with Dinky Trade Packs, empty trade boxes, Pre-war vehicles, road and racing cars, gift sets, trucks, military and French Dinky. A further collection included Corgi TV and Film related, Chipperfield?s and cars. The sale continued with further Corgi and Dinky items, shop displays, leaflets and pin badges, plus pre-production models, Corgi Aviation Archive, White Metal TW models, Minichamps, Carousel, Hot Wheels, Tekno and Corgi haulage, construction vehicles, and much more. The Michael Banfield Collection included vehicles from EFE, Matchbox, Hornby Train related items, TV and Film, Tinplate models, Roadace replicas and kit and scratchbuilt models. The sale also included aircraft groups from The Manchester 1/400th Scale Aircraft Collection.
