This Staffordshire China antique miniature globe of the world sold for £660 in our 1st of July auction, inclusive of Buyers Premium.

The Globe, dated 1780-1800 came with a letter of provenance to The Lady Lorna Howard, dated 5 November, 1956, from Maxwell Ayrton & Courtenay Theobald FFRIBA.

📏This tiny model stands at just 1.5"/3.8cm tall.

The globe of the world features hand-painted and lettered - IND. OCEAN and GR. OCEAN, and continents AUST. and RICA, 🖌️

Lady Leonora (Lorna) Howard (1896-1989) was the daughter of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin.
