Staffordshire China antique miniature globe of the world, 1780-1800, with letter of provenance to The Lady Lorna Howard, dated 5 November, 1956, from Maxwell Ayrton & Courtenay Theobald FFRIBA, globe of the world in china pottery, hand-painted and lettered - IND. OCEAN and GR. OCEAN, and continents AUST. and RICA, held within brass and wooden base, 1.5"/3.8cm tall. NB: Lady Leonora (Lorna) Howard (1896-1989) was the daughter of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin.
