Coming up in April is a fantastic private owner collection of tinplate and plastic, Cast Iron and Bakelite novelty toys and vehicles.

The collection includes a 1966 Nomura Batman, which resembles Adam West with a grinning face, and cape. The model hasn’t been tested and does require attention, but it is excellent for display, the previous two to have been sold through Vectis Auctions achieved excellent four-figure sums.

There are a number of Space toys and robots, including an Attacking Martian, and space vehicles. Early 20th century Automata is included with a fabulous array of animals, including clockwork pigeon, grasshopper and peacock; a cast iron horse and cart and a savings bank depicting bears searching for honey, plus a Lehmann clockwork “Adam the Porter”.

There is a fantastic collection of large scale Kitbuilt Pocher cars, Victory Industries tinplate cars, Schuco novelty cars of varying conditions plus Mamod Steam engines, and Shackleton Foden’s.

This collection is extremely interesting and worth a look for any collector.
