The Vectis TV & Film Auctions are always much-anticipated events and the February one is no different. 

The usual superb offering of Star Wars items includes vintage graded and carded figures. Additionally, there are more modern Hasbro (Kenner) releases from a collection of an Ex - Hasbro employee with unique One-Off Star Wars Hand Made Figures of a Clone Trooper, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia (Boushh Bounty Hunter) and a Jedi Starfighter used for marketing purposes. A gauntlet of board games that would keep you busy until next Christmas, classics such as Monopoly (in various guises), Trivial Pursuit and Risk to fantasy games - Space Crusade and Dungeons and Dragons.  For aficionados of games consoles the 1980’s Milton Bradley, Vectrex display based game system is sure to appeal. Most of the Hasbro recent ranges are represented Batman, X-Men, Indiana Jones, My Little Pony, Transformers, Power Gladiators and others. Fashion dolls Bratz, Sindy, Spice Girls and a four special S Club Seven dolls to get you ‘reaching’ into your pockets could be Rachel, Tina, Jo and Hannah. Lot no. 4421 are the only samples in existence - the dolls in this format never made it to production.

Also, in this sale is the collection of an ex Project Manager at Innovision Research and Technology which has some fascinating concept works of CommTech prototype chips for Star Wars Episode I.

Recent sales have seen strong results for Master of the Universe so the section in this sale are the ones to watch. Lot 4140  Mattel Masters Of The Universe Point of Sale Toy Bin Header Card, Lot  4141 Mattel Masters Of The Universe He-Man Blasterhawk boxed vehicle boxed and an awesome array of hand drawn and colour artwork for the cartoon series in Lots 4142 – 4147.

With the rise in interest in toys in living memory, a chance to acquire items that may be on the rise would have to include the excellent range of WWF carded figures, wonderful original Lord of the Rings figures from 1979, Karate Kid, TMNT and the prototype carded figures for Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

The sale also has a cross section of Trading Cards from the 1960’s through to Pokémon and Disney cards, these make fantastic and striking montages when mounted.
