The Louis Marx (Swansea, UK) Archive
Lots 4181-4244 in the 24th October TV & Film related sale originally formed part of the Louis Marx factory warehouse archive in Swansea which was acquired as a whole in the early 1990s by the consignor. The majority of the pieces listed have never been publicly offered before since their acquisition. The archive consists of predominantly 1950s – 1970s Marx products, to include hand painted prototypes, factory samples and USA Marx products sent for consideration for UK market release etc. Louis Marx was the largest toy company in the world by the 1950s with a prolific output encompassing every type of toy product range.
The lots represent a unique opportunity to purchase a true piece of toy history.
