The Jersey Collection - Thursday 26th October 2017
The Jersey Collection which was held on the 26th of October began with over 60 lots of Corgi toys, including boxed and unboxed cars, tractors, Land Rovers and Gift sets. The sale continued with a similar selection of Dinky Land Rovers, tractors, construction, transport, and racing cars. There was a nice selection of Corgi ?Noddy?s? cars, Dr Who and James Bond, plus plastic kit James Bond, and tinplate, plastic and friction drive ?Batman? Batmobiles. The Tinplate and Plastic section of the sale featured battery operated, clockwork and friction drive cars, emergency services, trucks, military and farm vehicles. The sale continued with Matchbox Regular Wheels and Superfast trucks, cars, tractors, emergency services, farm vehicles, caravans and campervans and scooters and sidecars. There was also a selection of Matchbox Models of Yesteryear and catalogues.

Lot 6022
Corgi No.416s Land Rover (109WB) - "Radio TS" - rare promotional issue finished in yellow, correct greyish blue plastic canopy, red interior, grey plastic aerial, metal tow hook, spun hubs - superb example in a blue and yellow carded picture box with correct "Touring Secours" flash, also comes accompanied with collectors and colour folded leaflets.?

Dinky No.340 Land Rover - orange body, dark green interior with plastic figure driver, metal tow hook, mid green plastic hubs with grey treaded tyres - (couple of very small marks on edges) in a yellow and red carded picture box, still displays well.
Lot 6133
Murcielauto No.4 "Batman" plastic friction drive Batmobile - finished in black "Carlos" decals complete with "Batman and Robin" figures - this unlicensed issue which is (made in Argentina) is in a colourful carded box.

(Taiwan) - "Batman" Tinplate battery operated Batmobile finished in red, blue, black with lime green windscreens, with "Batman and Robin" figures - in a colourful lift off lid box - nice bright example.

JR Parker Off Road Models White Metal/Resin 1/43rd Scale 1948 Land Rover Station Wagon Model. Sage green, with matching interior, the body is loose on the chassis, includes opening rear window and tailgate, limited edition model with certificate. in a clear perspex case.

Matchbox Regular Wheels No.15a Diamond T Prime Mover - rare yellow body with silver trim, metal wheels - in type B1 box.

Matchbox Regular Wheels No.26b Foden Cement Mixer - Stannard Code 1 - orange body with silver trim, dark grey plastic barrel, type A chassis without braces, 9 x 20-tread grey plastic wheels - overall in type C Lesney box, printed by Pembroke Abbey, without "new model" lettering to end flaps.

Matchbox Regular Wheels No.44b Rolls Royce Phantom V - metallic mauve body with silver trim, ivory interior, gloss black base, 24-tread silver plastic wheels - with a few tiny chips - in type E1 box illustrating blue model with red interior.

Matchbox Regular Wheels No.53a Aston Martin DB2/4 - metallic red body with mask sprayed front & rear silver trim, gloss black base, 24-tread grey plastic wheels with rounded axles - in type B5 box without printers identification (rub mark to one picture face). Still a nice example of this scarce issue which displays well.

Type C Lesney boxes include (1) No.1c Aveling Barford Diesel Road Roller printed by Pembroke Abbey; (2) No.18c Caterpillar Bulldozer without printers identification; (3) No.26b Foden Cement Mixer (edges of box touched in using blue ink) printed by Pembroke Abbey; (4) No.30b Magirus Deutz Crane Truck with "New Model" lettering and without printers identification; (5) No.46b Guy Pickfords Removal Van with "New Model" lettering printed by Pembroke Abbey; type B5 boxes include (1) No.15b Rotinoff Super Atlantic Ballast Tractor printed by Pembroke Abbey; (2) No.23c Bluebird Dauphine Caravan without printers identification (surface tear to one end flap touched in using blue ink) and type B2 box for No.11b ERF Tanker.
