The Hampshire Diecast collection to be held on the 28th of January features a large collection of Matchbox models in various livery’s, colour trials and promotional issues; model variations include Model T Vans, Rolls Royce, Stutz Bearcat, Packard Victoria, Mercedes Benz SS Coupe, Auburn Speedster 851, Ford Model A Woody Wagon, Bugatti T44, and preproduction Model A Vans. Further items in the sale include unused factory parts, Code 3 issues, Gift Sets and manuals. The sale will also include Corgi Classics – buses, coaches, construction and Heavy Haulage, emergency vehicles, TV and Film related, Aviation Archive, plus EFE, Lledo, and others.

 

Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y7 1918 4-ton Leyland Van "W&R Jacob & Co Limited" - lighter brown body and chassis, cream roof, silver radiator shell, grenodised solid wheels with crimped axles, bare metal underside of roof, one piece decals with "By Royal Appointment" deleted - rare issue generally Excellent in a Fair type A box.

Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y4 1930 Duesenberg Model J Towncar - late colour trial model - white body with 2nd type casting to roof, black seats and roof, chrome 24-spoke wheels, chrome plated parts, Y4 cast to bumpers, wide rear tab and orange red chassis with factory spun down rivet - rare model - Excellent Plus a few small chips to chassis, roof is a loose fit with a H-type woodgrain window box.

Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y12 1912 Ford Model T Van - unreleased colour trial model - yellow body, 4 red vertical lines "Coca Cola" tampo to one side "Colmans Mustard" to the other side, matt black roof, gloss black chassis, black seats, gold plated parts, red 12-spoke wheels, type I rear doors and 1978 Lesney England baseplate - rare model.
