The Specialist and Tinplate Toy sale to be held on the 25th of March starts at the earlier time of 10am to incorporate all 818 lots. The sale starts with The Cambridgeshire Collection, 278 lots of boxed and unboxed Corgi and Dinky models, plus Budgie Toys, Triang Spot-On, Matchbox, Tekno and others. The sale continues with TV & Film Related; British, Continental & Foreign Made models and further Corgi and Dinky models feature in The West Yorkshire Collection. The Leeds Collection, includes Tinplate & Plastic models including large Schylling cars; vehicles, models and Steam Engines plus a number of Meccano, Airfix, Lott’s, and others building and engineering sets. Further Tinplate & Plastic items include, clockwork, steam and friction drive models including vehicles, boats and ships, novelty toys, robots and space vehicles, plus cabinets, biscuit and confectionary tins.

Dinky 408 Big Bedford Lorry - pink cab and chassis, cream back and Supertoy hubs with grey treaded tyres, silver trim, tow hook - Excellent Plus (couple of small marks on protruding edges) in a generally Excellent blue and yellow lift off lid box (couple of small scuffs to edges) with correct colour spot and "LF" label - see photo.

Alps (Japan) tinplate 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 and Boat Trailer - very scarce friction drive model - turquoise with orange tinprinted interior, detailed hub caps, bright plated parts, with spring loaded hitch to rear. The Model comes with a pressed steel Boat Trailer with matching hub caps to the Car, carrying a wooden ITO (Japan) or similar wooden Speedboat with stream line battery-operated outboard motor, the boat is called "Wish". The wooden hinged battery compartment cover to the boat requires re-attaching otherwise the pair are generally Excellent to Excellent Plus and together measure 23"/59cm long.

Dinky Trade Pack 139a Ford Fordor Sedan containing 6 examples to include 3 x tan body, red ridged hubs, (small baseplate lettering); 3 x red, maroon ridged hubs (small baseplate lettering) - conditions are generally Good Plus to Excellent still lovely bright examples that display well in a generally Good yellow lift off lid trade box with original dividers and "Hudson Dobson" label to lid - see photo.

Corgi 258 "The Saint's" Volvo P1800 - white body, red interior with figure driver, blue bonnet label, silver trim, spun hubs - Good Plus still a lovely bright example of a harder to find issue in a Good to Good Plus blue and yellow carded picture box.

Bing (Germany) 19872 1920's tinplate clockwork Model T Ford as a Tourer with hood up - black, with tinprinted lady driver, tinprinted spoked wheels including rear spare, number plates front and rear, in working order with integral key, some very light wear to the raised beading otherwise an Excellent example which has survived remarkably well with motor in working order, 6"/16cm long.

Large tinplate 3185 "Ford Custom Ranch Wagon" - impressive tinplate friction drive example of Japanese manufacturer - red, with black roof, opening rear tailgate and detailed tinprinting to interior - Excellent Plus to Near Mint, 12"/30cm long and comes in a Fair to Good card box with colourfully illustrated lid.

ITO (Japan) large wooden Submarine - impressive battery-operated model with substantial wooden hull, painted in burgundy/grey, removable superstructure section gives access to a battery compartment, and electric motor which drives twin rear propellers through a gearbox arrangement (untested). The model has number of metal deck fittings including guns, and periscopes together with a separately applied American flag (in the box), with a rudder to the stern, anchors to each side and is marked "No.2" - a rare model which is generally Good Plus for display, 27"/69cm long and comes in a substantial wooden carry case with hinged lid.
