The Specialist and Tinplate toy sale held on the 16th of June featured three private owner collections. The Kent Collection included 90 lots of predominantly Dinky models, road and racing cars, trucks, wagons, commercials, buses and military vehicles. The West Yorkshire Collection featured 1/43 scale models from Matrix and Minichamps, plus Corgi, Dinky and Matchbox. Further Corgi and Dinky models, including TV and Film related could be found in The Coventry Collection. Plus, the sale also included Benbros, CIJ, Hot Wheels, Solido, Britains tractors, white metal and resin models. Further TV & Film Related, Dinky Toys, Corgi Toys and Tinplate & Plastic toys from Triang Minic, Chad Valley, Karl Bub, Carette, Schuco and many more, plus toy reference books and trade catalogues.

Corgi 238 Jaguar Mark X - Kingfisher blue, lemon interior, silver trim, spun hubs, with luggage case - rear numberplate decal applied otherwise condition is generally Excellent (couple of very small marks to front and roof) still a bright example of a harder issue to find in a Good Plus blue and yellow carded picture box with collectors club folded leaflet - see photo.

Corgi 310 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - metallic brown, yellow interior, wire wheels, chrome front and rear bumpers - this harder to find colour variation is generally Excellent Plus (couple of very minor marks) in an Excellent Plus blue and yellow carded picture box with collectors club folded leaflet - see photo.

Corgi GS10 Gift Set to include Marlin Rambler Sports Fastback with Trailer - blue, white, cream interior, cast hubs, comes complete with kayak and figure - overall condition is generally Near Mint including inner pictorial stand, outer carded picture box is Excellent (does have a small pen price mark to one side) - still a beautiful example.

Corgi 267 "Batman" - Batmobile - finished in black, blue tinted windscreens with "Batman and Robin" figures, grey plastic aerial, red and gold Bat hubs - overall condition is generally Excellent (very slight discolouration to bare metal parts), inner pictorial stand is Good Plus including outer blue and yellow carded picture box, comes with Secret Instruction Pack containing 2 x folded leaflets - see photo.

Dinky 29b Streamlined Coach factory colour trial issue - finished in yellow, dark maroon (brownish) flashes, silver trim, black ridged hubs with smooth tyres (does have some small chips around roof edges) comes with original tag with "Colour Scheme Approved" stamp plus writing to both sides - see photo.

Dinky 179 Hudson Sedan low-line two-tone grey, mid-blue including ridged hubs with black treaded tyres, silver trim - Excellent Plus a lovely bright unboxed example.

Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor "Colmans" Promotional issue - finished in yellow body, lemon interior, silver trim, cast hubs (without label to roof) - overall condition is Fair - still a hard variation colour to find.

Karl Bub (Germany) 14"/35cm tinplate clockwork Limousine - a very scarce Toy Car dating from the pre 1914 period (see David Pressland's book page 71) - scarce in any condition this professionally restored example is brick red, with black roof, opening front and rear doors to each side, opening windscreen, door handles present, as is the uniformed driver, fitted with glass inserts to the windows, clockwork motor in working order with brake levers at either side of the cab. Believed to have been the subject of a professional restoration some time ago, fitted with replacement white tyres, repro headlamps, some small nicks and scratches here and there but otherwise has been repainted and refinished to an Excellent standard.

Carette 9"/23cm Limousine - tinplate clockwork pre 1914 model Car is cream, with fine blue lining and gilt trim, includes 2 x lithographed luggage cases to roof rack and opening rear door with handles to each side (loose securing tab on the drivers side), clockwork motor with integral key in working order with brake lever to either side of chassis, comes with cast metal wheels and original rubber tyres together with both cast metal headlamps and a tinplate uniformed driver - some age related wear but overall an otherwise Good example.

Carette or similar tinplate Rickshaw - possibly of German manufacture, similar construction to the vintage cars, fitted with large scale spoked wheels, some deterioration to the rubber tyres, fitted with cast metal lamps and other fittings together with a folding cloth hood - Fair to Good, 10"/26cm long.
