The Specialist and Tinplate toy sale to be held on the 19th of November starts with Part 2 of The Argentinian Collection, featuring over 200 lots of Matchbox Regular wheels, plus King Size, Yesteryear and catalogues, the collection includes cars and commercials, buses, military, construction and emergency vehicles. Tinplate & Plastic lots include clockwork, friction drive, battery and steam operated models from Mettoy, Bing, Schuco, Tipp & Co, and many others and includes vintage Scalextric cars, Britains, Meccano and a very scarce large scale Remote Control Military Jeep. The sale continues with Part 2 of The Mike Linham Fire Engine Collection and a further Private Owner Collection, features construction vehicles, Corgi Aviation archive and Airfix amongst others.



KNK (Earth Whole Models of Japan) very large scale radio-controlled model of a Military Jeep - very scarce substantially constructed example, believed fitted with a Chikyudo petrol engine and designed to be radio-controlled, unchecked for completeness but comes with water cooled engine with fan, battery-operated front and rear lamps with fold down windscreen, opening bonnet with spring loaded catches and folding canvas canopy, there are some tools in the rear toolbox and a screw on spare wheel. The model is untested for either operation or completeness but is otherwise a Good Plus to Excellent scarce example which is sought after by radio-controlled enthusiasts worldwide and is 21"/54cm long. The model comes with a photo-copy of the instruction book (in Japanese).

Matchbox Regular Wheels 73a "RAF" Pressure Refueller - greyish-blue, silver trim, with "RAF" roundel to top, RARE issue with knobbly black plastic wheels and rounded axles - overall condition is generally Fair to Good (does have some loss of paint around generator top) in a Good type B5 Moko box - see photo.

Tipp & Co (Germany) 2-seater Racing Car - scarce pre-war tinplate clockwork model circa 1930 - cream, with tinprinted detail including driver figure, poseable front wheels and clockwork motor in working order - light age wear but generally Good to Good Plus overall for display, 10.5"/26cm long.

Shackleton Foden Tipper Lorry - scarce large scale diecast model circa 1950 is powder blue, with grey chassis and red wings. Fitted with a replacement rear tailgate which requires re-attachment and is held on by the securing lever, some repainting and minor repro parts. The winding mechanism for the tipper body is incomplete but the substantial clockwork motor is in working order although the propeller shaft has become detached, comes with a small bag of spare parts - otherwise a Fair to Good example in a non standard box, 10.5"/26cm long.

French Dinky 586 Citroen Milk Delivery Truck - white, blue including concave hubs, silver trim - Excellent (does have some small marks on protruding edges and roof), still a lovely bright example of a harder issue to find - in Good Plus to Excellent yellow and blue striped lift-off lid picture box (blue base is Good Plus - does have some scuffs) - complete with correct crates - see photo.

G&R Wrenn Limited (UK) "Pullback n' Go" Super Mini - 1/18th scale plastic model is dark blue, with bright plated detail and rubber tyres, designed to be released after pulling back on the motor, 6.5"/16cm long - Near Mint and comes in a Excellent illustrated box marked "Triang Product".

Karl Bub (Germany) tinplate clockwork Limousine circa 1930's - red, with black roof and running boards, includes a flat uniformed driver figure, the clockwork motor is in working order driving rear wheels, light age related wear but otherwise generally a Good Plus bright example, 10.5"/27cm long.

Dinky 953 Continental Touring Coach - turquoise, white roof, beige interior, silver trim and side flashes, red plastic hubs - Excellent (couple of minor paint flaws to roof, baseplate is slightly distorted) - clean bright models displays well in a Good Plus to Excellent yellow and red lift off box with detailed picture.

Corgi RARE - "Tarzan" Land Rover - finished in mid/dark metallic green with black stripes, deep yellow interior, grey base, Whizzwheels - RARE fitted without spare wheel to bonnet, this is an extremely rare promotional issue which was made in the 1970's by "Quake Up" Cereals - condition is Near Mint (couple of very minor marks) - see photo.
