The Specialist, Tinplate and Model Train sale held on the 18th of October started with a number of group lots from Corgi and Matchbox, plus Britains Tractors, farm related vehicles, Charben Miniature Series, Fire Engine groups and TV & Film related vehicles. Further items included Scalextric, Crescent toys, plus Mamod and Marklin Live Steam models. The sale also included a large number of Tinplate, plastic and pressed steel models with clockwork, friction drive and battery-operated mechanisms. Lots included Mettoy, Wells, Tipp & Co, Chad Valley and pre and post war Triang Minic, plus Dan Dare items, Schuco clockwork figures, space and novelty toys, and Richters Anker/Anchor block sets. The sale concluded with train related items, including a nice selection of ACE locomotives, Hornby and Bachmann.
