The Specialist sale held on the 23rd of February featured an assortment of boxed and unboxed models, from single to groups, and empty boxes. Collections included pre- and post-war Dinky, French Dinky, Military, aircraft plus ex-shop stock and trade boxes. Further lots included Corgi TV and Film related, Forward March and Corgi Aviation Archive. There was a large collection of larger scale models from Kyosho, Autoart, Danbury mint, Minichamps, plus Brooklin Models, Lansdowne, Rob Eddy and others.  The sale also included Matchbox, Vanguards, Lledo, Meccano catalogues and a jigsaw puzzle maker, Scalextric, Benbros, Britains and many more.


Dinky 357 Klingon Battle Cruiser taken from the TV series Star Trek original shrink wrapped factory trade pack of 6 examples - all assumed Mint in Near Mint to Mint window boxes (one box just a little creased along bottom edge & shrink wrap split in places). Very rare opportunity.

Dinky Toys pre-war Gift Set No.23 "Racing Cars" - scarce example comprising Auto Union Racer - red with black smooth hubs and racing number 1; Mercedes Benz Racing Car - yellow with black smooth hubs and racing number 1, some fatigue cracks to front radiator grille area and rear edge; Speed of the Wind Racing Car - powder blue with racing number 1, black smooth hubs, some fatigue blistering to the back panel behind the rear wheels - all 3 have their tinplate baseplates and original herringbone tyres (a couple of flat spots) - otherwise contents are generally Good to Good Plus colourful items which still retain their light blue gift set box dated 4/39 together with a (torn) silver card insert.

Triang Spot-On 11/3 AEC Mammoth Major 8 with Flat Float - finished in red cab and back, silver chassis and inner back, cream interior with grey plastic steering wheel, silver trim, cast hubs - overall condition is generally Good Plus to Excellent (couple of small chips around edges) in a Good lift off lid box (some splits to corners) with "British Road Services" livery label - see photo.

French Dinky 507a Fourgon Peugeot J7 Depannage "Autoroutes" - orange body, grey interior, red roof light, black plastic aerial, concave hubs, with correct accessories - overall condition is generally Excellent Plus a lovely bright example, inner pictorial stand is Good Plus to Excellent (couple of very small tears) in a generally Good carded picture box (has had some sellotape repair to end flaps) - see photo.

Corgi Toys Batmobile and Batboat on Trailer - (1) 267 Batmobile - black early example with red motifs to wheels, includes Batman and Robin figures, includes opened packet containing 10 x rockets, 6 of which are still on their sprue (lacks instructions and lapel badge) - (box lacks end flaps but does include the pictorial insert) NOTE this model comes fitted with the black plastic detachable tow hook fitted to the rear of the exhaust pipe. This accessory is normally supplied with the Batboat and (2) 107 Batboat on Trailer - black, with gold coloured trailer, lacks the figures but see the note above - otherwise Good Plus to Excellent in Fair to Good packaging.
