The Specialist sale which was held on the 22nd September held no fewer than 10 private owner collections. Dinky models featured heavily in this sale with variations from Dinky Dublo, Atlas Editions, French Dinky, and Pre-war models, these and other models could be found in The St Martins Bay Collection, The Kent Collection, The Dinky Ex-Shop Stock Collection, The Canadian Collection, The Devonshire Collection, and The Germany Collection. Corgi road and racing vehicles, commercials and Chipperfield circus models were found in The County Durham Collection, and The Birmingham Collection, whilst The West Yorkshire Collection and The Cheshire Collection featured Triang Spot-On, Matchbox, Tekno, Solido, Lansdowne, Minichamps and many more.

 

Triang Spot-On 701 "His, Her's, Junior's" Set - this scarce and hard to find issue includes 3 vehicles which appear to be generally Excellent to Excellent Plus (do require very minor attention in cleaning), inner carded tray is Good Plus, outer window box is Good Plus (cellophane has dropped slightly) - still a bright example of a hard to find issue.

Triang Spot-On 802 "Tommy Spot Cops 'n Robbers" Set to include Jaguar - metallic blue, red interior and Ford Zephyr "Police" Car - Jaguar is generally Excellent (couple of small marks to roof), Ford Zephyr is Good to Good Plus (although does require some attention in cleaning and one broken aerial), inner pictorial stand and 3 x figures is Excellent Plus in a Good Plus window box - still a bright example.

Corgi GS3 "Batman" Gift Set with Batmobile finished in black, with RARE clear windows, "Batman and Robin" figures, deep gold tow hook, grey plastic aerial - overall condition is generally Excellent, comes with "1st issue" Batboat finished in black, tinplate fin, blue tinted windscreens, gold Trailer with cast hubs - overall condition is generally Excellent (very slight discolouration to windows), polystyrene tray is Good Plus in a Good striped window box (small mark to top where label has been removed) - see photo.

Dinky 502 Foden (1st Type) Flat Truck - mid-blue cab and back, dark blue chassis, flashes and ridged hubs with herringbone tyres (without tow hook) - overall condition is generally Excellent (couple of small marks on protruding edges and cab roof) still a lovely bright example in a Good (slightly grubby) buff lift off lid box with paper labels - see photo.

Matchbox Regular Wheels 59a Ford Thames "Singer" Van - pale green, silver trim, knobbly grey plastic wheels with crimped axles - with decal cast outlines - Near Mint a beautiful example in a Good Plus type B Moko box - see photo.

Dinky Pre-war (Type 2) Delivery Van "Firestone Tyres" - off white body, black smooth hubs - Fair still a bright example.

Dinky Pre-war (Type 2) Delivery Van "Oxo Beef at its Best" - blue, silver, violet-blue smooth hubs with white tyres - Fair to Good (does have some small repair marks and fatigue) still a bright example.

Corgi GS14 "Daktari" Gift Set to include Bedford TK Giraffe Transporter - beige cab and chassis, brown back with 2 x Giraffe figures, cast hubs; Land Rover - finished in green, black stripes, lemon interior, cast hubs (missing Stethoscope) and Dodge Kew Fargo Truck with Elephant - blue, grey, tan - conditions are generally Excellent to Excellent Plus (couple of small marks on protruding edges) still nice bright examples, inner polystyrene tray is Good Plus, outer blue and yellow window box is Good (does have some small grubby marks and tears to edges) still a bright example, also comes accompanied with detachable header card which is Good Plus - see photo.

Dinky 36c Humber (Type 5) - mid-blue body, black chassis and ridged hubs with smooth tyres - Excellent Plus a beautiful example (usual slight discolouration to grille and surrounding parts) - see photo.

Dinky 282 Duple Roadmaster Coach - yellow body with red flashes, silver trim, mid-blue ridged hubs - overall condition is generally Good Plus to Excellent (very small marks on protruding edges) still a nice bright example of a harder issue to find.
