The Specialist Sale to be held on the 18th of June features five private owner collections plus a TV and Film related section. Lots include boxed and unboxed Corgi and Dinky road and racing cars, vans, trucks and wagons; plus, military vehicles, buses, Farm and construction. The sale features Corgi Gift sets, including GS38 Rallye Monte Carlo, Corgi Chipperfield Circus, Military Trade packs, and a Corgi (Mettoy) National Association of Toy Retailers award. Dinky lots include pre-war aircraft, vehicles and tinplate buildings, Dinky figures, accessories and trade boxes, and French Dinky. Other items in the sale include Triang Spot-on, Tekno wagons and white metal military vehicles.

 

Dinky (South African Issue) 194 Bentley Coupe - pale green, red interior, black tonneau, figure driver, chrome trim and spun hubs with black treaded tyres - Excellent Plus a beautiful example, comes with a standard issue Good Plus yellow and red carded picture box - see photo.

Corgi GS38 "Rallye Monte Carlo" Gift Set to include BMC Mini Cooper S - red including interior, white roof, silver trim, spun hubs, racing number 52; Rover 2000 - metallic maroon, white roof, red interior, silver trim, spun hubs, racing number 136 and Citroen DS19 - pale blue, white roof with grey plastic aerial, lemon interior, silver trim, spun hubs, racing number 75 - conditions are generally Excellent Plus to Near Mint beautiful examples, inner pictorial stand is Excellent Plus, outer blue and yellow carded picture box is generally Good to Good Plus still a nice bright example of a harder set to find.

Dinky 902 Foden (2nd Type) Flat Truck - yellow cab and chassis, green back and Supertoy hubs with grey treaded tyres, tow hook - Excellent (does have some very small chips on front wheel arches) - still a lovely bright example of a harder issue to find in a Good Plus blue and white striped lift off lid box with yellow colour spot - see photo.

Corgi GS22 "Farming Models" Gift Set to include Fordson Power Major Tractor; Tipping Trailer; Land Rover; Flatbed Trailer; Massey Ferguson 780 Combine Harvester (metal tynes); Massey Ferguson Tractor with Fork attachment plus various accessories - conditions appear to be generally Good Plus to Excellent Plus all display well, polystyrene base and top are generally Good Plus, carded base is Good including lift off lid with detail picture (does have some grubby marks and splits to sides) - still a bright example.

French Dinky 511 Auto De Course Ferrari Trade Pack containing 3 examples (1) red, white figure driver, chrome concave hubs with black treaded tyres, racing number 25 - Excellent (very small mark to back and slight rusting to hubs); (2) another but racing number 26 - Excellent Plus (does have small marks to rear top edge) and (3) racing number 27 - Excellent Plus a beautiful example, all come with Near Mint to Mint shop stock yellow and red carded picture boxes, outer trade box is Excellent - superb opportunity to acquire 3 different racing numbers - see photo.

Corgi (Mettoy) "National Association of Toy Retailers" Award - Best Summer Toy - Wembley Playballs (Mettoy Playcraft Ltd) - this plaque on wooden stand is believed to have been on "Marcel Van R Cleemput" desk - superb opportunity to acquire a piece of Corgi history - overall condition is generally Good - see photo.

Corgi GS40 "Batman" 3-piece Gift Set to include Batcopter - black, red with "Batman" figure; Batmobile - black, chrome hubs, grey plastic aerial, blue tinted windows, with "Batman & Robin" figures; Batboat on Trailer - orange, black, gold Trailer - comes with yellow missiles attached to sprue - conditions are generally Near Mint to Mint, inner polystyrene and card are Excellent, outer striped window box is generally Good Plus still a nice bright example.
