The Specialist sale held on the 11th of January featured no fewer than seven private owner collections. The Forest Collection included boxed and unboxed Dinky models, Corgi, including rare issues and Gift sets and TV Related items. The Northumberland Collection featured Triang Spot-on plus Dinky and Corgi and further Corgi models were included in The Hebburn Collection. The Jaguar Collection featured a range of Dinky 219 Jaguar models and The Tees Valley Collection Part 2 included Harry Potter memorabilia, including Lego sets and diecast vehicles, further TV & Film related models, Dinky, Triang Minic, Britains, French Dinky military models, Corgi, Matchbox Superfast and Regular Wheels and Trains. Part 3 of The Devonshire Collection included further Corgi and Dinky models, Corgi Whizzwheels, Dinky aircraft, plus Hot Wheels and Triang Spot on. The final collection was a Dinky Ex-Shop Stock Collection.

 

 

Dinky 110 Aston Martin Db3 Sports Car - pale green body (harder colour variation to find), red interior and ridged hubs with smooth tyres, white figure driver and steering wheel, silver trim, racing number 22 to sides - Excellent Plus (steering wheel does have some small chips) still a lovely bright example in a generally Good Plus to Excellent yellow and red carded picture box with correct colour spot - still displays superbly.

Dinky 300 Massey Harris Tractor - red body, rare green hubs (plastic to front), black metal tow hook, steering wheel and chimney stacks, with correct plastic figure driver - this late issue is generally Excellent Plus (couple of small marks to one rear hub and steering wheel) still a beautiful example in an Excellent Plus yellow and red carded picture box with original price label to end flap - see photo.

Dinky 955 Fire Engine with Extending Ladder - finished in red including plastic hubs with grey treaded tyres, silver trim to rear and ladders only (factory error without silver trim to front), metal tow hook - Excellent Plus (couple of small marks on rear top edges) in a Good Plus to Excellent correct late issue yellow and red carded box with detailed picture.

Corgi 205 Riley Pathfinder Saloon - blue body, silver trim, flat spun hubs, RARE VARIATION without mechanical motor (normally only issued as a mechanical variation in this colour) - Near Mint (does have some very minor roof marks) in a generally Excellent Plus blue and yellow carded picture box with collectors club folded leaflet.

Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol Car RARE ISSUE "Rijkspolitie" - white body, red interior, small blue roof light, grey plastic aerial, flat spun hubs - with front and rear decals - overall condition is generally Near Mint (front decal does have some slight discolouration) still a bright example of a hard to find issue in a Good Plus (couple of small marks around edges) blue and yellow carded picture box with price labels still attached, also comes with correct inner packing piece and collectors club folded leaflet.

Corgi GS38 "Rallye Monte Carlo" Gift Set to include (1) BMC Mini Cooper S - red including interior, white roof, silver trim, spun hubs, racing number 52; (2) Rover 2000 - metallic maroon, white roof, red interior, silver trim, racing number 136, spun hubs, with "Trans-O-Lite" and (3) Citroen DS19 - pale blue body, white roof with grey plastic aerial, lemon interior, silver trim, racing number 75, spun hubs - conditions are generally Excellent Plus to Near Mint, inner pictorial stand is Excellent Plus, outer blue and yellow carded picture box is Good Plus a beautiful example - see photo.

Corgi 416 Land Rover RARE VARIATION - "TS Touring Secours" - finished in yellow including metal tilt, grey plastic aerial, flat spun hubs, metal tow hook - condition is generally Near Mint (usual small loss of paint to lower edges of metal tilt) in a generally Excellent blue and yellow carded picture box with "Touring Secours" flash - also comes accompanied with original "TS Touring Secours" pin badge - see photo.

Corgi 497 "The Man from UNCLE" - Thrushbuster - RARE EXPORT ISSUE - finished in off white (very pale cream), silver trim, cast hubs and lamps - overall condition is generally Near Mint (very small marks on chrome clicker), inner pictorial stand with Waverly ring is Excellent Plus, outer carded picture box is Excellent (does have some small creases on side), comes with inner packing piece and collectors club folded leaflet - see photo.

Dinky 29e trade pack Single Deck Bus containing 6 examples - (1) cream, mid-blue flashes, black ridged hubs; (2) same as (1) but mid-blue ridged hubs; (3) mid-blue including ridged hubs, dark blue side flashes; (4) same as (3); (5) green, dark green side flashes, black ridged hubs and (6) same as (5) but mid-green ridged hubs - conditions appear to be generally Good Plus to Excellent Plus lovely bright examples in a generally Good Plus buff lift off lid trade box (with original dividers) - see photo.

Dinky 398 "Farm Equipment" Gift Set to include Massey Ferguson Tractor - red, yellow hubs (plastic to front), with plastic figure driver and chimney stack; Trailer - finished in red, yellow metal raves and plastic hubs; Manure Spreader - red, yellow plastic hubs, Hay Rake - red, yellow metal wheels and Plough - conditions appear to be generally Excellent to Excellent Plus (Manure Spreader has some small chips on front edges), inner carded tray is Good Plus in a generally Good presentation box - see photo.
