The Specialist sale to be held on the 22nd of January starts with The Cotswold Continental Collection, over 200 lots of boxed and unboxed models from Tekno, Lion Car, CIJ, JRD, Quiralu, Mercury and many more. The Isles Collection features a further 250 lots of Corgi and Dinky cars, trucks, vans, TV and Film related models and gift sets. Further Dinky models are included in The Middlesex Collection, along with French Dinky and The Devonshire Corgi Collection includes 50 lots of cars and vehicles. Further items in the sale include Pre-War Dinky, Matchbox, Aircraft, catalogues and leaflets, empty boxes, and much more.

 

Dinky 28e Pre-war (Type 1) - "Ensign Cameras" Delivery Van - orange body, gold washed wheels - Good to Good Plus still a nice bright example.

Corgi GS15 Silverstone Racing Layout Gift Set. Containing (1) 150S Vanwall F1 Racing Car - red body with racing number 25 nose decal, original driver, flat spun hubs which have accessory pack adhesive wire wheel labels applied; (2) 152S BRM F1 Racing Car - sea green body with racing number 1 nose decal, original driver, flat spun hubs with accessory pack adhesive wire wheel labels applied (box also has "This model is now packed with six self-adhesive wire spoked hubs" leaflet); (3) 154 Ferrari F1 Racing Car - red body with racing number 36 decals, original driver, spun hubs; (4) 215S Ford Thunderbird Convertible - red body, mustard yellow interior with silver seats, original driver, grey base, spun hubs (complete with original packing ring); (5) 304S Mercedes 300 SL Hardtop - chrome plated body with racing number 3 hood decal, red hardtop, spun hubs (as usual model does have some slight "pitting" to chrome plating); (6) 309 Aston Martin DB4 Competition - sea green & white body with racing number 1 door decals, lemon yellow interior, grey base, spun hubs; (7) 417S Land Rover Breakdown Truck - red body with primrose yellow tinplate rear canopy, lemon yellow interior, grey base, spun hubs (box complete with inner card packing piece) - all generally Near Mint to Mint apart from Ferrari which has paint chips to nose & chrome loss to plated engine & exhausts and only Excellent in Excellent to Mint blue/yellow boxes each one of which is complete with "Join the Corgi Model Club" leaflet. Also complete with 3 x packs of plastic figures (1) 1501 Racing Drivers & Pit Mechanics; (2) 1502 Spectators; (3) 1503 Race Track Officials - each set containing 6 x various figures detached from sprues (one Marshall has damaged flag) - Excellent to Mint in generally Excellent but a little creased blue/yellow window boxes. Also included are EMPTY BOXES ONLY for the five plastic kits (602 AA/RAC Telephone Boxes, 2 x 603 Silverstone Pits, 604 Press Box and 605 Timekeepers Box) - empty boxes are Good Plus to Near Mint all apart from one Silverstone Pit box complete with instructions and the Telephone Boxes also complete with 2 x unused decal sheets most complete with original factory clear plastic bags & some sprues in Good Plus a little stained from storage lift off lid box. Set is missing printed vinyl roadway and general assembly instructions along with adhesive paints & brush. Apart from the missing components set is in outstanding condition, the plastic kits in particular should be relatively straight forward to replace.

Dinky 189 Triumph Herald - RARE PROMOTIONAL issue - finished in two-tone lilac-grey, silver trim, chrome spun hubs with black treaded tyres - overall condition is generally Excellent (couple of small marks to windows) in a Near Mint plain late issue yellow and red carded box - see photo.

Corgi 348 Ford Mustang Fastback "Flower Power" - finished in mauve, psychedelic decals, chrome front and rear bumpers, cast hubs - "RARE FLOWER POWER" rear boot decal (decal does have some slight wear) - otherwise condition is generally Excellent Plus still a bright example of a hard to find issue in a generally Excellent (couple of creases around edges) blue and yellow carded picture box with collectors club folded leaflet - see photo.

Corgi 267 "Batman" - Batmobile (1st issue) - black body, red bat hubs, blue tinted windows with "Batman and Robin" figures, grey plastic aerial - Near Mint (couple of small marks around edges), inner pictorial stand is Excellent Plus including outer blue and yellow carded box with detailed picture, also comes accompanied with inner packing piece, instruction folded leaflet plus sealed instruction pack containing Missiles attached to sprue, folded leaflet and lapel badge - a beautiful example see photo.

Corgi 492 Volkswagen 1200 (Beetle) European "Police" Car - RARE "POLITIE" issue - finished in white body, brown interior with 2 x figures (loose steering wheel), blue roof light, chrome trim, spun hubs - overall condition is generally Excellent (slight discolouration to labels) in a generally Near Mint blue and yellow carded picture box with inner packing ring and card - see photo.

Corgi 313 Ford Cortina GXL "Graham Hill" - RARE EXPORT issue - finished in dark mustard, black hood, red interior, Whizzwheels, chrome front and rear bumpers - Excellent Plus still an outstanding example of a hard to find issue in a generally Near Mint (very slight crushing to cellophane) orange and yellow window box with "Graham Hill" figure and collectors club folded leaflet.

CIJ 3/75 Renault Truck with 2 x Trailer load - finished in grey cab unit with 2 x Trailers, red, white and blue pipe "Babcock & Wilcox" - overall condition is generally Excellent to Near Mint in a generally Fair to Good carded box (has had some sellotape repair to one end flap) still a bright example of a harder issue to find.

Mercury 63 Fiat Dino Coupe Bertone - finished in harder to find emerald green, brown interior, chrome trim - overall condition is Excellent Plus (does have some small chips on front wheelarches) still a beautiful example in a Good Plus carded picture box.

PR Models (France) Promotional "Waterman" Van - cream, blue, silver trim - this example is generally Good Plus to Excellent (couple of small marks on roof edges) still a bright example of a harder to find issue.
