The Specialist Sale held on the 17th of July featured six private owner collections plus many other items. Private Owner Collection #1 included boxed and unboxed Dinky cars, trucks and construction vehicles, plus trade packs, motorcycles, military and aircraft. The Argentinian Collection featured 200 lots of boxed and unboxed Corgi including TV and Film, Dinky Cars and commercials, plus ships and French Dinky.  The Warwickshire Collection included Corgi, Dinky, French Dinky and others, and The Birmingham Collection included European and Continental lots from Majorette, Siku, Tomica, Tekno, Solido, Corgi, Dinky and French Dinky. The Swiss Piccolo Collection featured mixed groups, multipacks, Gift Sets and Limited-edition models from Schuco Piccolo; and The Surrey Collection included 32 lots of Corgi Gift Sets and cars, Dinky and French Dinky. Further items in the sale included Solido, Dublo Dinky, OO Gauge passenger groups, Model Pet (ATC), Lansdowne, Brooklin, Marx (Tinplate), Triang Spot on and many more.


Budgie Toys 272 "Mike Mercury" - "Supercar" - red, silver - very unusual issue as comes with full detailing as shown on model illustration (appears to be factory done) in a Fair (complete) yellow and black carded box with "Sample" label to one side, also has correct inner packing piece - see photo.

Dinky (Dublo Dinky) 073 Land Rover and Horse Trailer Trade Pack containing 6 examples - finished in green Land Rover with black knobbly plastic wheels, orange Trailer with knobbly black plastic wheels, with Pony figure, black opening door - all appear to be Near Mint to Mint including yellow and red carded picture boxes, outer trade box is Excellent (ex-shop stock) - see photo.

Dinky 502 Foden (1st type) Flat Truck - burnt orange cab and chassis, mid green back, side flashes and ridged hubs with black treaded tyres, silver trim, tow hook - Excellent Plus (a few minor touch-ins) clean bright model in a Good Plus blue lift off lid box with paper label (small pen graffiti to one end).

French Dinky 14a Triporteur - yellow, green convex hubs with black tyres, brown and black figure rider - Good Plus still a bright example.

French Dinky 1432 Ferrari 312P - red body, black interior, racing number 60 - Excellent Plus in a Good Plus rigid perspex case (missing connecting clip).
Estimate: £30 - £40 Sold For: £190
Dinky 234 Ferrari Racing Car - blue body, yellow nose and racing number 5, white figure driver, chrome spun hubs with black treaded tyres - Good Plus still a nice bright unboxed example of a harder wheel issue to find - see photo.

Triang Spot-On 211 Austin Mini Seven - grey body, off white roof, red interior, cast spun hubs - overall condition is Good Plus (loss of chrome to front and rear bumpers including surrounding parts) - unusual and hard variation to find with having coloured roof - see photo.

Mattel Hot Wheels a late 1970's/early 1980's issues on blister cards to include 3292 Renault Le Car - red with black body stripe, 2510 Inside Story - yellow with multicoloured body art, 3913 67 Camaro - red with flames, 3917 Pontiac J2000 - yellow with orange body stripes, plus others - generally Near Mint to Mint in Fair to Good packaging. Dinky Pre-war a group of Empty Boxes to include 101 Dolly Varden, 102 - both are generally Fair (faded labels), 61 "RAF" Aeroplanes - base and inner tray are Good to Good Plus, lid with side label is Fair with 24 Series label to lid - see photo. (3)
