The Specialist sale on the 6th of August starts with The Andy White Collection of Smaller Diecast, over 240 lots of Matchbox Regular Wheels, Accessory & Major Packs, King Size & Super Kings and Superfast. Plus Corgi Rockets, Husky & Corgi Juniors, Benbros, Morestone, Lone Star, Fun Ho!, Dinky Toys and Miscellaneous Items. The sale also features further Matchbox models including Regular Wheels, Superfast, and Super Kings, plus others, and over 200 lots from an Ex Matchbox Employee. This collection features predominantly models from the 1980s-90s and includes many rare, never come-across models, the ones that collectors knew existed but people rarely kept! One not to be missed for the Matchbox collector.


Matchbox Regular Wheels 11a ERF Tanker - rare green body with gold trim - Good Plus with some paint loss to tank raised edges and area of discolouration to top of tank around front filler cap in generally Good but creased type B1 box.

Matchbox Regular Wheels 46b Guy Removal Van Promotional Issue "Beales Bealesons" - tan body without silver trim, gloss black base, 36-tread black plastic wheels - Excellent Plus with usual minor factory assembly paint chip to top edge of radiator grille along with two chips to edge of left hand decal and one chip to edge of right hand decal (see photos) in Good correct plain white card box with "It's a Pleasure" label (box complete with all end flaps but somewhat discoloured from prolonged storage). Still a nice example of this rare model.

Matchbox Superfast 25b Mod Tractor Twin-pack Issue - red body, dark yellow seat, matt black base, rare 5-spoke front wheels - Mint apart from minor factory casting flaw to rear of plastic seat in Excellent "New" type I box.

Matchbox Regular Wheels c.1962/1963 issue Retailers Counter Card Shop Display Stand illustrating 65b Jaguar 3.8 litre Saloon and price marked 1'9 each intended to display the entire 1/75 Series Regular Wheel range, has been previously carefully assembled for display - Excellent with a couple of minor creases to both top corners of stand and a few other minor scuff marks. Nice example.

Matchbox Regular Wheels 59b Ford Fairlane Fire Chief Car - with rear silver trim, gloss black base, 24-tread grey plastic wheels - Excellent Plus with tiny pin size chip to passenger side rear fin & front door handle along with small chip to rear corner of roof in Good Plus to Excellent "New Model" type D2 box printed by Pembroke Abbey.

Matchbox early Moko Lesney Toys large scale Aveling Barford Diesel Road Roller - dark green body with cast metal driver, dark green canopy with bare metal canopy supports, red metal rollers - overall Good Plus with some paint chips particularly to rollers - model still displays well.

Matchbox 1970 copyright US Issue Magnetic Action Freight Centre - set is still factory shrink wrapped contents assumed Mint in Excellent a little dirty from storage shrink wrap box.

Matchbox Superfast 58b Woosh-n-Push Pre-production Colour Trial - metallic lilac un-spun body, pale yellow interior, bare metal base, Maltese Cross wheels - Near Mint unboxed with slight chrome loss to rear engine. Please note body has not been spun down on to base.

Matchbox Superfast 19b Road Dragster - rare metallic red body with racing number 8 labels, bare metal base - Excellent Plus with a couple of tiny factory assembly paint chips below windscreen in Good Plus a little creased at one end type I box with original purchase date added in blue ink to one striker side.
