The Specialist sale on the 6th of August started with The Andy White Collection of Smaller Diecast, over 240 lots of Matchbox Regular Wheels, Accessory & Major Packs, King Size & Super Kings and Superfast. Plus Corgi Rockets, Husky & Corgi Juniors, Benbros, Morestone, Lone Star, Fun Ho!, Dinky Toys and Miscellaneous Items. The sale also featured further Matchbox models including Regular Wheels, Superfast, and Super Kings, plus others, and over 200 lots from an Ex Matchbox Employee. This collection featured predominantly models from the 1980s-90s and included many rare, never come-across models, the ones that collectors knew existed but people rarely kept! One that was not to be missed for the Matchbox collector.


Matchbox Regular Wheels 11a ERF Tanker - rare green body with gold trim - Good Plus with some paint loss to tank raised edges and area of discolouration to top of tank around front filler cap in generally Good but creased type B1 box.

Matchbox Regular Wheels 46b Guy Removal Van Promotional Issue "Beales Bealesons" - tan body without silver trim, gloss black base, 36-tread black plastic wheels - Excellent Plus with usual minor factory assembly paint chip to top edge of radiator grille along with two chips to edge of left hand decal and one chip to edge of right hand decal (see photos) in Good correct plain white card box with "It's a Pleasure" label (box complete with all end flaps but somewhat discoloured from prolonged storage). Still a nice example of this rare model.

Matchbox Regular Wheels 1a Aveling Barford Diesel Road Roller - dark green body with straight canopy ends & gold trim, dark tan driver, red metal rollers - Good Plus (paint loss to edges of rollers) in Good Plus type A Moko script box and 7a Horsedrawn Milk Float - metal wheels with flat crimped axles - Excellent Plus in Good type A Moko script box. (2)

Lone Star Flyers Gift Set 302 containing 6 x various Cars - all are silver painted base, 5-spoke wheels (1) Corvette Stingray - metallic bronze body, light blue interior; (2) Chrysler Imperial Hardtop - metallic blue body, red interior; (3) Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III Convertible - metallic dark blue body, beige interior (does have some factory silver paint marks to drivers side and missing steering wheel); (4) Ford Mustang GT - metallic brown body, light blue windows, light blue interior; (5) Toyota 2000 GT - metallic maroon body, light blue windows, light blue interior; (6) Ford Taunus 12M - lilac-blue body, beige interior - Excellent to Mint in Good window box (one end flap incomplete missing its locking tab and a couple of puncture holes to edge of box). Rare set.

Fun Ho pair of Mobil Petrol Pump Series vehicles (1) 9 Volkswagen Beetle - light grey body - overall Excellent with a few tiny chips to roof & hood in Good Plus box complete with leaflet (some pencil graffiti to one side of box); (2) 5 Volkswagen Transporter Combi Minibus - blue body - Excellent to Excellent Plus in Good Plus box complete with leaflet. Matchbox Superfast 3 x 3c Porsche 911/930 Turbo - all are clear windows, 5-arch wheels (1) metallic brown body, pale yellow interior, gloss black base; (2) metallic emerald green body, dark yellow interior, graphite grey base; (3) red body with black & white racing number 90 tampo print, tan interior, gloss black base and 3 x 59d Porsche 928 - all are 5-arch wheels (1) metallic champagne gold body, dark amber windows, brown interior, gloss black base; (2) metallic blue body, brown interior, silver painted base; (3) black body with white "Porsche" tampo print, red interior, silver painted base - Excellent to Mint in Good creased to Near Mint type K & L boxes. (6)

Matchbox Superfast 69b Rola-Matics Turbo Fury Pre-production Colour Trial - metallic gold un-spun body with racing number 3 nose label (from 3b Monte Verdi Hai), clear windscreen, white driver, gloss black base - gold body is Near Mint, base chipped with factory paint flaws and only Good. Please note body has not been spun down on to base.

Matchbox Superfast Honda Prelude model makers Trial resin model - metallic silver-green body with grey windows, 5-arch wheels - this Lesney period proposed model was not actually released.

Matchbox Superfast Toyota Celica ST185H GT4 Pre-production model makers resin Prototype model - metallic silver body with grey windows, telephone dial wheels - Near Mint to Mint unboxed. This particular design proposal was not produced.
