The Specialist Diecast sale to be held on the 5th of March features a Private Owner Collection of Pre-War 24 Series Dinky models, including sports cars, saloons, ambulances, and Gift Sets. Further Dinky lots include French and Spanish issues, plus Trade Packs, Accessories, Service stations, Aircraft and Military. The sale will also include Corgi TV & Film related issues, Matchbox Models of Yesteryear, and construction vehicles. There is also a large collection of Formula 1 and Racing cars from Spark, BBR, Look Smart, TSM Miniatures and Minichamps.

Lot 377 - Dinky Toys Pre-War 24 Series Gift Set  8 - Piece Set to include (all Type 2) Chassis and last issue body types  - (1) 24a "Ambulance" - Cream body, red chassis and black (replacement) hubs, (2) 24b Limousine - Dark blue body, maroon chassis (Replacement) black hubs, (3) 24c Town Car - bare Metal body and chassis (4) 24d Vogue - maroon body, black chassis and hubs without spare wheel (5) 24e Super Streamlined Car - Mid-green body, black chassis and hubs - as later issue 36d with side pillars (6) 24f Coupe - Brown body, black chassis, and hubs and without spare wheel, (7) 24g 4-Seater Car - blue body and rear cast spare wheel, brown chassis, black hubs, closed windscreen and (8) 24h Green body including rear, blue chassis, closed windscreen and black hubs - all have white tyres - conditions are generally Fair to Good (unless stated) most showing signs of fatigue and some blow holes - all contained in a Good Plus very hard to find last issue lift of lid box with label to lid and end displays superbly (not original dividers) Estimate: £2,400 - £2,800

Lot 360 - Dinky Toys Pre-War 24e (Type 1) Super Streamlined Saloon - Red body and hubs with white tyres, black chassis (underside UN-painted) and Tootsietoy style hubs (axles peened and crimped) with front casting block to front axles (See-Photo) - Good to Good Plus (slight loss of paint on hubs) lovely bright example. Estimate: £600 - £700

Lot 275 - Shackleton David Brown Trackmaster 30, Tractor with clockwork motor - finished in red with black rubber tracks is generally Good Plus to Excellent lovely bright example (couple of very minor paint touch-ins) - still displays well, with chimney stack and key in Fair lift-off lid box - hard item to find. Estimate: £1,100 - £1,300
