The Model Train sale held on the 27th of May started
with OO Gauge British Outline from Hornby, Bachmann, Lima, Airfix and others,
including train sets. Further items included HO USA & Continental Outline, N
Gauge, Z Gauge and On30. The sale also included Hornby Dublo 2 & 3-rail and
Acho, a Classic Collections 3-rail Limited Edition Loco, Triang, Wrenn, Trix/Liliput,
Kit/Kitbuit OO Gauge, Lone Star Treble O ‘Lectric Locomotives, plus Meccano
& Other Constructional Toys, Live Steam, and Gauge 1 & Larger. The sale
concluded with Hornby and other, Finescale, Modern and Kitbuilt O Gauge, Railwayana,
Books, Magazines, Jigsaws and our usual good selection of General Trains.
Hornby (China) R2485 (Live Steam) 4-6-2 LNER green A3 Class Loco No.4472 "Flying Scotsman" complete with control units, oval of track, gloves, various tools plus operators manual, contents are unused with track still sealed and control units plus gloves still manufacturer wrapped with loco still in tissue in Near Mint to Mint box base with polystyrene inserts but pictured lid is only Good to Good Plus with 4 split corners.

Hornby (China) R1041 Mallard Live Steam Train Set containing 4-6-2 LNER blue A4 Class No.4468 "Mallard" along with oval of track, operators manual, relevant tools and gloves etc along with controller and transformer units, track and all tools plus gloves appear unused but loco has been fired (probably only once), conditions Excellent to Excellent Plus in Excellent box with polystyrene inserts.

Classic Collections Co-Co brown and yellow Hawker Siddeley/Brush Prototype Diesel Loco No.HS4000 "Kestrel", loco has metal body mounted on 3-rail Co-Co Hornby Dublo Bogies and complete with certificate No.7 of a production run of 25, some marks to one side of loco otherwise condition Good Plus to Excellent.

Wrenn W2283 4-6-2 LNER photographic grey A4 Class Loco No.4489 "Woodcock", please note this is a Cheshunt Collectables for Adults issue and is fitted with larger scale driving wheels, condition is Excellent to Excellent Plus in Excellent Plus to Near Mint box with stamp to one end quoting "G&R Wrenn Limited Cheshunt" and to the other end "Collectables for Adults", base is unstamped but box does contain instruction booklet.

Wrenn W2309 4-6-2 BR unlined black rebuilt West Country Class No.34036 "Westward Ho", this is the issue without smoke deflectors, tender has Hornby Dublo type couplings to rear, condition Excellent in generally Good Plus box with correct stamp to both ends of lid but base stamp quoting date is reproduction and both lid and base have sellotape residue which is incorrect for this period, complete with instruction booklet.

Kitbuilt O Gauge Finescale pair of West Coast Joint Stock Coaches consisting of 1st/3rd No.95 and Brake 3rd No.72, both with labels to the underside "Built and supplied by Tower Models Blackpool". Both coaches have suffered with chassis, roofs and internal parts detached and both coaches will require rebuilding although coach sides are generally Excellent. (2)
