The Model Train sale held on the 26th of February featured OO Gauge British Outline from Heljan, Hornby, Mainline Railways and Bachmann, plus HO USA & Continental Outline from Rivarossi, Marklin, Fleischmann, Rocco, Lima, Trix, and others. The sale also included N Gauge, Narrow Gauge Hoe, Z Gauge, Hornby Dublo and Hornby Acho. Further items included Triang, Trix/Liliput, Brass and OO Gauge Kit and Kitbuilt. There was a further instalment of The Chris Freeman Collection and further Meccano & Other Constructional toys. Plus, Live Steam, O Gauge, Gauge 1 & Larger, Layout/Dioramas, Books, Magazines, Catalogues & DVD’s and our usual good selection of General Trains.


Meccano circa 1930's No.2 Motorcar built as model No.M4 Grand Prix Tourer in green and yellow together with all extra parts required for alternative variations in overall Good condition but is careful to note with some signs to rust to drivers side of cockpit top, bonnet and front drivers mudguard, it is also noted it has repro wheels and windscreen, overall condition Good Plus.

Meccano circa 1930's No.2 Motorcar built as model No.M1 Sports Tourer in red and cream in overall very Good condition however it is careful to note it has a reproduction driver, windscreen and rear wheels. Condition very Good overall.

Bachmann OO Gauge 32-381T pair of Co-Co Class 37 Diesel Locos comprising British Steel large logo pale blue livery No.37501 "Teesside Steel Master" along with Railfreight large logo grey with red stripe No.37502 "British Steel Teesside", locos having been produced exclusively for Rail Express Magazine and come complete with colour card depicting the same, conditions are Excellent Plus to Near Mint in generally Excellent individual boxes contained in generally Good outer box.

Meccano circa 1934, 1938 K Outfit empty Cabinet in green. Overall very Good condition with correct internal lift-out tray however is missing the lock else very Good condition.

Pocher of Italy Bugatti 50T Sir Profile 1932 1/8th scale unmade kit, the box has been opened only all unused and in Good to very Good condition in very Good box.

Meccano model of a CAT 789C Caterpillar Mining Truck built using nickel, yellow and blue Meccano and includes a Monoperm 12v electric motor driving a number of brass gears. This models is similar to one shown in the Constructor Quarterly Magazine of September 2007 the only noticeable difference is the use of the nickel Meccano instead of blue and the hydraulic lifters for the rear tipping unit. A professionally built model. Water/damp damaged but nevertheless a very good model, overall Good to Good Plus.
