The Model Train sale held on the 25th of September started with almost 200 lots of OO Gauge British Outline from Hornby, Bachmann Lima and others, and included a Single Owner Collection. The sale continued with HO American Continental Outline, N Gauge, Hoe, Hornby Dublo 2-, and 3-rail plus Xrail and Acho. The sale also included Wrenn, Triang, Triang TT, OO Gauge Kit/Kitbuilt, Live Steam, and O Gauge from Hornby and others; the sale concluded with Books, Magazines, Catalogues & Railwayana and our usual good selection of General Trains.

 

Wrenn W2303 4-6-2 LMS Wartime black Streamlined Princess Coronation Class No.6237 "City of Bristol" complete with instruction booklet and instruction flyer sheet. This is one of the Locomotives assembled in the Dapol factory after the acquisition of the Wrenn company. Condition Mint in reproduction box.

Hornby O Gauge early high voltage Metropolitan Set with an 0-4-0 Loco Metropolitan No.2, 3-rail electric All 1st Passenger Coach, All 3rd Brake End Coach, coaches Good to Good Plus, loco Good Plus to Excellent together with quantity of early 3-rail tinplate track, track clip, terminal connecting plate and dark red rear stat. Good Plus all contained in an early mottled type box with circular colour printed top. Good Plus.

Bassett-Lowke and similar O Gauge quantity of 3-rail all brass wooden sleepered Track consisting of 36" straights x 7, 18" straights x 5, 24" points x 1, 18" points x 3 (1 x 2-rail), curves x 12, 2 x boxes of point/track parts, 1 x 36" box with brass track, sleepers, track gauge and associated items together with 11 x large radius curves 3 with power track connectors and a large radius double curve with power track connectors.
