Model train Sale - Friday 20th October 2017
The Model Train sale held on the 20th of October started with The Southampton Collection Part 1 featuring Hornby (China), Hornby Railways and Triang. The sale also included OO Gauge British Outline, N Gauge, HO Gauge Continental & American Outline; Hornby Dublo 3-rail and 2-rail, plus Wrenn, Triang, TT Gauge, OO Gauge Kit & Kitbuilt, Triang Minic Motorway, Meccano and Other Constructional Toys. Other lots included Gauge 1 and Larger, Hornby O Gauge Locomotives and Rolling Stock, Accessories, Kit & Kitbuilt and Modern O Gauge. The sale concluded with Live Steam, Railwayana, Catalogues, Books, Magazines, Pictures and Prints and our usual good selection of General Trains

Aristocraft Trains G Gauge Ref ART-84100-01 2-8-2 Loco and Tender Rio Grande black No.1204, radio controlled. Appears unused in wheeled aluminium case with bottle, syringes, radio control unit, power and battery. This is butane fired and has reversing speed control motor, chuffing, bell and sound controls, large mouth lubricator, large water capacity for long running, drain clock amongst other features. Complete with instructions and DVD.

Marklin Gauge 1 Ref.5756 Overhead Electric Be 6/6 "Crocodile" No.13254. One deflector grille below pantographs detached in box including instructions.

Finescale Brass (Sancheng China) Gauge 1 0-6-0 Loco and Tender BR green Jubilee Class "Minotaur" No.45695, 2-rail electric. Locomotive and tender finished in BR green with running number 45695 to cabsides, Minotaur nameplate to front splasher with British Railways transfer to tender sides. Much detail to include sprung drivers, detailed back head, imitation coal to tender amongst other details. Appears unused possibly display only.

Sunset Models O Gauge 2-8-2 Loco and Tender SNCF black Class 141 No.141.R.1, 2-rail electric. Fitted with Quantun and Log and DCC with Q1A sound decoder, locomotive in black with builders plate to smoke deflectors and SNCF with class and running number to cab sides. Tender in black with SNCF and running number to tender sides. Appears unused, boxed with instructions.

DJH Kitbuilt Ref K330 4-6-2 Loco and Tender BR green Peppercorn A1 Class "Hal o' the Wynd" No.60116, 2-rail finescale electric. Professionally built and painted in BR lined green with nameplate "Hal o' the Wynd" to smoke deflectors, running 60116 to cab sides and British Railways transfer to tender sides.

Railwayana pair of items consisting of GWR cast cab side numberplate for an 060 Tank Loco No.8471.Painted in green, lined in orange with brass numbers left unpainted. Included with this lot is a production British Railways poster for Greenwood Signal Box New Barnet. Folds to centres left and right, up and down. (2)

Railwayana quantity of cast plates and notices consisting of Rothbury seat back measuring 28" x 4 1/2" approx. Rothbury was a station in Northumberland part of 13 mile single track line opened in November 1870 and absorbed into the North British Railway in 1872, the station was closed in 1963. "Penalty for Neglect £2" notice, "Shut This Gate" together with a notice for "Any persons not fastening this gate after having passed through is liable to a penalty for 40s", together with a "Keep This Gate Shut" mounted on a wooden base (broken in 3 sections).
