The Model Train sale held on the 18th of October featured OO Gauge British Outline from Hornby - including China and Railways, Bachmann, Heljan, Dapol and Lima plus others; HO USA & Continental Outline, Hornby Dublo 2- and 3-rail, Wrenn and Triang locomotives and rolling stock, Triang Minic vehicles and Triang TT accessories. Further items in the sale included Kit/Scratchbuilt OO Gauge from Lawrence scale models and others; Trix /Liliput, Bing Table-Top clockwork locomotives and rolling stock and OO gauge Samhongsa Brass. The sale also included a further 60 lots from the Lawrence Scale Models OO Gauge Single Owner Collection; an Exley Single Owner Collection, plus Large Scale Models, G Gauge and American Outline S Gauge; Hornby, Modern, Finescale and further O Gauge plus our usual good selection of General Trains, Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, and Live Steam.

Bassett-Lowke or similar Traction Engine single cylinder with chain steering, single 3 1/2" flywheel, Bassett-Lowke pressure gauge Full Brake, appears to have been fired on a number of occasions, would benefit from a general clean and tidy otherwise Good to Good Plus.

ACE O Gauge E/4 4-6-2 Loco and Tender LNER blue A4 Class "Merlin" No.4486, 3-rail electric. Post-war version without valances. Smoke unit fitted and crew added to cab. Appears little used Excellent Plus to Near Mint in Excellent box.

Ludlows of Bolton O Gauge Finescale 4-6-0 Loco and Tender LMS maroon Jubilee Class "Impregnable" No.5721, 2-rail Finescale electric. Professionally built and painted, finished in lined LMS maroon with running number 5721 to cab side and LMS lettering to tender sides. Slight transfer loss to the "M" of LMS lettering to one tender side otherwise Near Mint in original box.
