The Model Train sale held on the 11th of December started with OO Gauge British Outline, including a Single Owner Collection; HO USA American Outline, Wrenn, Triang Railways and Kit/Kitbuilt OO Gauge. The Kemshott Collection featured Hornby Dublo 3 Rail, Lone Star, and Hornby O Gauge locomotives, coaches and accessories, whilst The Chris Freeman Meccano Collection featured further lots of pre and post war Meccano outfits, parts, leaflets and ephemera, plus Marklin, Erector, Bing, Primus and others. The sale also included further Meccano & Other Constructional Toys, Gauge 1 & Larger, Hornby Kit/Kitbuilt and further O Gauge plus Books, Magazines, Catalogues & DVDs, Railwayana, Pictures, Prints & Jigsaws and our usual good selection of General Trains.
Meccano circa 1979/80 dark blue No.10 Outfit in 3 drawer cabinet, this set is totally unused and complete with still wrapped tissue paper parts, correct as it left Binns Road in 1980, also it still retains the original outer packing case. I honestly believe this was one of the very last No.10 Outfits to leave Binns Road prior to closure. Exceptionally rare item.

Meccano circa 1964 silver paint, black and yellow No.10 Outfit, appears largely to be unused with all parts still strung to original factory cards including small parts packets, No.10 Outfit leaflets, unfortunately some parts are showing signs of corrosion and a few parts have worked loose from the stringing cards however overall condition is still very Good with a cabinet Excellent. A rare set to find in this colour scheme.

Hornby O Gauge No.3C "Golden Arrow" Pullman Train Set consisting of a No.3C 4-4-2 Loco and Tender Southern green "Lord Nelson" No.850, clockwork, 2 x No.2/3 Special Pullman Coaches "Loraine" and Brake End Coach "Verona". Glue to circle of tinplate 2-rail track, packet with combined rail gauge, screwdriver and spanner, packet of keys, lamps, corrugated connector, 2 x packets of connecting plates together with Hornby Railway Company dated 2/38. Contents are Excellently Plus, loco with test tag all contained in a Good to Good Plus box with Hornby Train Golden Arrow labels to 2 sides. A rare item in this condition.

Meccano No.6 Outfit circa 1933/34 in the light red and green with plum blue wheels. This is a very rare colour scheme and hard to find in a set of this size together with a Super Model Leaflet in the original envelope and bound set of Manual with special screwdriver, Theodolite card in overall very very Good condition, this is a very rare set to find.

Meccano pre-war circa 1939/40 blue and gold No.10 cabinet in green containing a large quantity of loose blue and gold parts, note this is not a set but includes large circular, long angle girders, loads and loads of parts however the cabinet bottom has no compartment, overall condition well used Good (note lock is missing).
