Britains Un-catalogued Band [Special Commission Set], 1938/39 Issue, comprising: Regimental Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards [Scots Greys] in Active Service Dress [Peaked Caps], Circa, 1938/39 - Mounted Kettle Drummer & 14 x Mounted Musicians Playing Various Instrumentation [slight damage to 1 arm loop]. Airfix Original Artwork, comprising: Original Airbrush Painting for the 1995 release De-Havilland Mosquito NFXIX/J.30 - in Swedish Air Force Colours by Airfix Artist Gavin McLeod. The unsigned Image Measures 21" x 13" on Artists Board in original Airfix Drawing Office Folder. It has been recently confirmed by the vendor that the artwork in this sale forms the sole remaining archive from this period of Airfix's history, the rest being destroyed with the demise of Humbrol in 2006. Some age wear to folder/margins however the image is near Mint overall. Unique. A Superb Image!

Queen’s South Africa, 4 Bars [Tugela Heights [3 awarded to Powerful], Relief of Ladysmith [3 awarded to Powerful], Transvaal [1 awarded to Powerful], Cape Colony [5 awarded to Powerful] and King’s South Africa, 2 Bars [South Africa, 1901, South Africa, 1902], Named to "9258. Petty Officer, J.Hay - H.M.S. Powerfull". HMS Powerful was a Protected Cruiser, Her Crew Provided Landing Parties for the Naval Brigade which Fought in the Siege of Ladysmith of 1899–1900 & Other Land Actions During the Second Boer War. The RN Field Gun Competition Commemorates the Participation of Powerful in the Relief of Ladysmith. Some contact wear otherwise generally Fine overall.
