Lot 598 - Matchbox Regular Wheels 62c Mercury Cougar - RARE STANNARD CODE 1 - pale yellow body (commonly referred to as cream), clear windows without windscreen wipers & without rear view mirror cast, ivory interior, bare metal base, chrome hubs with black plastic tyres - Excellent to Excellent Plus with just a few tiny chips, in generally Excellent very clean but creased at 1 end "New Model" Type E4® Box. This is a great example and 100% original, which displays very well indeed. Estimate: £2,400 - £3,000

Lot 574 - Matchbox Super Kings K-31 Peterbilt Articulated Truck & Refrigerated Trailer RARE PROMOTIONAL ISSUE "MELIX" - white tractor unit with bare metal roof air intake, clear windows, dark blue chassis, white plastic trailer body, roof & opening doors originally blue plastic but overpainted cream, dark blue chassis, 5-spoke deep dish wheels with black axle clips - Tractor Unit is Excellent with slight chrome loss to front bumper, Trailer Good (glue showing through labels which are discoloured) in Good to Good Plus scuffed & stained but complete promotional all card box. Rare French promotional issue commissioned by Francine a French Flour Company as a giveaway to bakeries ordering their products, also included is a vintage 1980's period storage tin - Near Mint complete with Near Mint outer plain card sleeve.
