The Doll & Bear auction to be held on the 1st of August features vintage and modern bears from Steiff, Farnell, Gebruder Bing, Artist Bears and Charlie Bears. Further items include a large selection of Mattel Barbie dolls, including character dolls, popstars, TV & Film related, and Famous Faces, plus boxed collections, traditional and cultural themed clothed dolls, and a fantastic collection of boxed and unboxed Integrity and Silkstone Barbies.

Lot 236 - Charlie Bears Mohair James teddy bear, CBM 073584B, LE 66/100, 2007, golden mohair with lilac tip, swing label certificate, canvas bag, Near Mint, 13.5"/34cm. NB James was the ninth bear in the Charlie Bears Mohair Collection, which came about after pleas from collectors to create a Charlie Bear Mohair range. Eleven Bears were made in this range from 2006 to 2007. Alfie, Bartholomew, Dylan, Humphrey, Jude and Tyler in 2006; then Freddy, Harrison, James, Logan and Louis in 2007.

Lot 8 - Gebruder Bing (Germany) vintage teddy bear, blonde mohair, boot button eyes, black horizontal stitched nose, hump, fully jointed, black claw stitching, metal tag to left side, foot pads are replaced, repairs to hand pads, mohair is worn all over areas of balding thought out, hole repaired to back of left arm overall Fair Plus to Good restored condition; also included modern neck ruffle; 13"/33cm.
