DOLL & TEDDY BEAR SALE - Wednesday 31st March 2021 10:00am

 

The Doll and Teddy Bear sale to be held on the 31st March features a large collection of Charlie Bears, including rabbits, kittens, pixies and gnomes. Further teddy bears include Steiff, Merrythought, Chad Valley, Gund Elvis Presley bears and many others. The sale also comprises plush teddys, TY beanie bears and TV related soft toys, including Bagpuss, Teletubbies, Sesame Street and Disney. Dolls in this sale include vintage and costume dolls, hard plastic, Vinyl, cloth and modern bisque, plus newborn baby dolls, dolls furniture, prams and clothing. The sale will also include vintage games, toys, jigsaws, magazines and comics, plus Golly collectables, My little Pony, Rainbow Brite and Care Bears.

Chad Valley vintage rare Clown teddy bear, British, late 1940s-1952, brown and honey alpaca, amber and black glass eyes, shaven muzzle, light brown vertically stitched nose, fully jointed, replacement felt pads with card lined feet, inoperative press squeaker, pair of brown pom-poms to chest (these are button shaped and three-dimensional- fashioned from mohair), alpaca with some thinning in places, leg seams are restitched at ankles, Fair Plus to Good; 19"/48cm.
