Doll & Bear Sale - Friday 1 March 2024 10:00
The Doll and Teddy Bear sale to be held on the 1st of March features The Staffordshire Hoard of Bears Collection; 143 lots of teddy bears from Steiff, Merrythought and Lakeland Bears including Deans Ragbook and Little Folk. Further bears in the sale include Charlie Bears, Boyd, Steiff, Hermann-Spielwaren, Chad Valley, Chiltern and a nice selection of Artist Bears. The sale will also include Dolls houses and furniture, Barbie and Teenage fashion dolls plus Composition, hard plastic, vinyl, costume and bisque dolls. The sale will also feature Pelham Puppets, books and Charlie Bears pin badges

Lot 521 - Steiff Bierwagengespann (Beer Wagon Team), white tag 038648, LE 247/500, certificate, consisting of three blonde mohair bears, four black mohair horses, wooden wagon and accessories, within plastic display box (damaged please see photographs), otherwise Good to Good Plus, base length 37"/95cm Estimate: £200 - £300
Lot 309 - Charlie Bears Isabelle Collection Toastie teddy bear, SJ 5906, LE 83/350, from The Mad Hatter Series, pink and winter white curly mohair, swing label certificate, carry bag, Near Mint to Mint, 17.5"/45cm. Estimate: £300 - £400
Lot 300 - Charlie Bears Snapdragon, from the Isabelle Collection, SJ 6030, LE 10/300, shades of pink and beige mohair, pink felt feet and hands, with swing label certificate, canvas bag, Near Mint to Mint, 12”/30cm (when seated). Estimate: £400 - £500
