The Specialist sale which was held on the 7th March featured six private owner collections:- The Surrey Collection � This model car collection which is the life work of a former employee of Dunlop and includes high quality examples of mainly boxed Corgi, Dinky, French Dinky, Britains and Spot One. The Malta Collection Part Two - again primarily boxed and in prime condition of Corgi, Dinky, Mercury and Crescent Toys The Lincolnshire Collection - features boxed, unboxed and loose vehicles from Dinky Military, Aircraft and Buses. The Devonshire Collection offers further Dinky and Spot On models plus Brooklyn and The Perfect Toy. The North Yorkshire Collection has a quantity of models in various scales from Rigby, Tomica, Bravo Delta, Ebbro and Mini Champs amongst others. Lot 43 Corgi No.269 "James Bond" Lotus Esprit taken from the film "The Spy Who Loved Me" - white, black with "007" label to bonnet, comes with missiles attached to sprue in a Excellent "Hammer & Sickle" film strip window box (does have some slight crushing to cellophane) - also comes accompanied with rare "The New James Bond Corgi" outer sleeve - these were given to VIP's following the press showing of the film at the Odeon Leicester Square - comes with various signatures including "Roger Moore" - superb opportunity to acquire a rare and hard to find piece of packaging - see photo.
