12th September - Specialist Sale

The Specialist Diecast Sale held on Tuesday the 12th of September comprised nine private owner collections offering over 730 lots of superior Diecast. The sale included boxed, unboxed and loose groups of Tractors and a superb selection of boxed Corgi Collectables plus Dinky and Matchbox.

The Rochdale Collection offered White Metal, mainly boxed. Additionally there were TV & Film related Diecast, plastics, radio controlled and construction vehicles.

Lot 1029

Corgi No.201M Austin Cambridge Saloon orange body, silver trim, flat spun hubs, mechanical motor. A beautiful example in a blue carded picture box.

Corgi No.261 "James Bond" Aston Martin DB5 taken from the film "Goldfinger" gold body, red interior with "James Bond and Bandit" Figures, wire wheels. A beautiful example, inner pictorial stand, including blue and yellow carded picture box (does have some small scuffs to one edge) comes with secret instruction pack containing folded leaflet, lapel badge and spare bandit figure, also accompanied with "Model Car Makers to James Bond" colour folded leaflet.

Corgi No.349 Morris Mini Minor "Pop Art Mostest" orangey red body, lemon interior, silver trim, cast hubs. A nice bright example that displays well in a blue and yellow carded picture box (does have some loss of colour to non-picture sides and end flap).
