Shallowpool vintage character dolls x eighteen, heads and lower limbs made from plaster of Paris, attached to a wired armature padded body: (1) A Pirate Captain; (2) A Farmer; (3) A Farmer's Wife; (4) Tin Miner; (5) & (6) Mary Kelynack; (7) Milk Maiden; (8) Dolly Pentreath; (9) Jenny Johns; (10) Pirate; (11) Fisher Woman; (12) Cornish Pasty Lady; (13) A Fisherman; (14) Bal Maiden; (15) Cider Apple Picker; (16) Violet Picker; (17) Primrose Picker; (18) Cream Maiden; some with damage, Fair Plus to Good Plus; (18). NB: The dolls were purchased by the vendor between 1999 and 1977 from The Doll Exhibition, Shallowpool, Fowey, Cornwall. Shallowpool Dolls were hand made locally, by three friends, Joan Rickarby, Muriel Fogarty, and Peggy Price, who started the business there in 1952. They produced dolls until the late 1980s, when the business closed.

Payment for lots can be made by Credit or Debit card (we accept all major cards), by Bank Transfer, or by cheque provided we have a bank guarantee or alternative arrangements have been agreed.
