Full Lot Description

"Hungry Horace", rare Commonwealth Toy & Novelty Co "Feed Me" vintage teddy bear, American, 1937, used by The National Biscuit Company to advertise Animal Crackers, dark cinnamon mohair, amber and black glass eyes (one is cracked in half), black vertically stitched nose, mouth opens by operating lever at back of head (part of the lever is missing), head is hinged at rear, roof of mouth is red painted metal, zipped to rear- revealing tin orifice (where you can relieve the bear of his "food"), unjointed, areas of balding to forehead, back of head, armpits and around zip, otherwise Excellent colour and mohair coverage, 16"/41cm.
