Marklin - Field Gun/Howitzer - circa 1910 - 1914 - [O/A Length 22cm, barrel length 13cm] - modelled on the French 7.5cm model of WWI, comprising: gun metal barreled [marked with the pre 1914 Marklin crest over the breech] Field Gun with operating firing mechanism, elevating gear, spoked wheels [one broken at hub] with camouflaged Tractor Pads & single trail. Finished in marbled effect early semi-gloss three colour camouflage pattern. Underside marked "Germany". A minor patch of surface corrosion on breech otherwise Very Good overall. Also, Marklin [LIKE] - Field Gun - circa 1900 -1910 - [O/A Length 15cm, barrel length 7.5cm], comprising: brass barreled [un-marked] Field Gun with operating firing mechanism, spoked wheels & single trail. Green painted with detail in black. Some age wear otherwise Very Good overall. [2]
