Full Lot Description

Matchbox (UK) HMS Bluebell - a 1/72nd scale plastic model of a Flower Class Corvette constructed from a Matchbox kit. Nicely detailed and painted, HMS Bluebell was launched in 1940 and served in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Arctic campaigns escorting several convoys to Russia. She was torpedoed and sunk in February 1945 - camouflaged hull with K80 to each side of bow, length of the model is 33"/84cm - Excellent in a clear perspex case with wooden display base.
